Jessica from Creativity’s Workshop has interviewed me for her pages and so the farmy and I are on her site today. Jessica is a writer. A spirited and generous writer. She is an Australian, living and working in China. She so believes that we are all creative that she writes about it. And challenges us all to engage our own creativity. Check out her book while you are over there.
So, lets pop over. Apparently The Big Dog is not leaving his wool mattress for anybody today, so he is on guard duty.
We had a little snow in the night and slowly the temperatures are warming up again. Thank Goodness. I see that my inbox is full of pictures so tomorrow I will show you the final selections for the postcards!!
See you over at the interview.
Good morning

Excellent interview.
Thank you for popping back in! c
Oh, celia, I’m not sure how you found the time to do everything that you’ve done… and you’re still on your way! I loved reading your answers and could just imagine you sitting across from Jessica describing your passion. I’d like to think we are all riding on the back of your “monster” and galloping across the farm.. holding on tight!! xo Smidge
It is funny how I think of that process as a monster, I think it is because it becomes unstoppable, in a way .. well in a good way! c
…and you told me I WAS BUSY when you answered my comment about “Things people don’t know about me” upon receiving the Versatile Blogger Award. So all I can say is, “It takes one to know one!”
Lovely interview.
Ronnie
Too True!! And we like to be busy!! c
I read the interview with Jessica, then I read some more of her posts and I found one by you – about your time at the old folks home. I am very glad I have found you. In my opinion, this world needs a whole lot more people like you.
That we lock our oldies away, horrifies me. I had a very much loved great-aunt to whom that happened – and she was very far from home – so visiting was very difficult. It was a bloody crime.
There were some lovely carers at her home too though – and it makes/made me feel a little better about her situation, that there are lovely people like you, to look after these precious people.
XXXOOO
Thank you janet, I really love working with the old people and still have a couple of oldies I visit regularly so that they can stay in their own homes as long as they can. There are countries in the world where old folks homes are unheard of.. makes one wonder c
What a treat to read an interview with you elsewhere, Celi. Like Jessica, I believe that everyone is creative. Like you, I believe we need quiet, unscheduled time to allow thoughts and ideas to come to us. And, as for riding the monster, the blog monster has gotten very big in my life for a creation barely six-months old. He needs to be fed frequently.
A Ha.. you are so right Sharyn, the Blog Monster does need frequents feeds! awesome .. c
Thank you for being so generous with your words and thoughts, Aunty Celi. 🙂 I’m so glad everyone enjoyed reading the interview. I certainly enjoyed doing it with you.
It was a great day wasn’t it, even my sons wrote to say how impressed they were.. have a great day, funny how you are starting up as i start thinking about bed!! Love auntie c (laughter) that better not catch on!! c
A great interview! You never cease to amaze me and it was interesting learning about some new hidden talents. Also a nurse! I think we should do a survey to determine how many medical professionals are also food and photography bloggers. I think our findings would be shocking… BAM
Lovely interview, Miss C! I so agree with what you say about raising children. Good stuff.
Becoming a celebrity now, people start interviewing you. Dont forget me when youre already popular 🙂
Your dog looks so cosy! I think he’s looking forward to summer more than anyone else. Looking forward to catching up with your interview.
Great to read the interview and learn a bit more about you. Well done on fitting in so much so far.
I enjoyed the interview, thus learning more about the one behind these pages. Thanks for sharing.
Great interview! What an exciting and adventurous life you’ve led! The fact that you were a nanny after your children left home really intrigued me. I am now in the role of “empty nester”, it can be a weird and uncomfortable feeling sometimes trying to figure out my new place in life. I wonder what my husband would say if I told him I was running off to Italy for a year to become a nanny? 😉
Tell him he can come too and be the caretaker (laughter!).. actually it has been done! c
I also like the photo of you! You called it a casual shot, sometimes those are the best. They get you as you, not posed, natural, and they can say a lot. It was a nice interview and Jessica did a good job.
Obviously those handsome puppy-pillows are a grand success!!!
That big dog has never slept on the verandah before, now he is there all the time.. i am pleased.. c
