It was just such a lovely ordinary day. Delicious. Though I was dogged all day by the thought that I had forgotten something and I still cannot remember what. Don’t you hate that? And last night the full moon was so bright and so golden that Ton was growling at it as it shone through the bedroom windows, I put him out and he howled at the moon. Howled at the moon the crazy dog.
Sheila has been housekeeeping.
she was not happy with the flooring in the summer palace.
Daisy was called in and reunited with her bestest buddy unHairy macLairy. Poor fellow he is a shadow of his former self, not the man he used to be. I could go on!
Scrapper has been scrapping again.
and at last the pears are thinking about blooming.
and the peaches.
and the thistles need grubbing. Ah well. We do a few a day and the paddocks will eventually be cleared.
Good morning. It is almost 40 degrees at 6am in the morning and the sun is out! Fantastic!
I hope you all have a lovely day! See you tomorrow.
your friend in the full moon, celi

Well, the shot of Daisy nuzzling Hairy is my new favourite from the farmy [gracing the desktop naturally!] of course, but am glad i was not there for the howling session: that gives me the proverbial creeps as in childhood something bad [like bombs falling!] always happened when dogs howled 😦 !
eha, you have had the most extraordinary life.. c
Yep, including too many howling dogs 😀 ! And I have made peace with the extraordinary ups and downs of the said life!!!!! Have a good weekend, dearHeart!
I’m Misfit’s other half, just have to tell you how much I enjoy your blog & pictures. The sheep are adorable & Scrapper could be our Olivia’s brother. I’m glad Daisy is ok. Love your dogs, even tho I’m a cat person!
Good morning Misfits other half ..Scrapper is such a ferocious bruiser of a little cat (and always on the losing side apparently) I am sure he would be thrilled to have a sister with such a delicate and charming name.. c
It was, and still is a full Pink Moon, or an almost full Pink Moon. A big one for this time of year. I’m so glad that at least Daisy recognizes her Hairy. Happy weekend, miss c.
I certainly can’t blame Ton–we just drove home and when I looked up at the moon I seriously considered howling at it too. Didn’t; pretty sure Richard would’ve driven right into the ditch if I pitched that into his ear at such close range! 😉
Mmmm – peaches and pears. Our blueberry bushes are starting to awaken and I really need to get some veggie starts in my garden before I completely run out of time. It seems like winter was just yesterday and now spring is here with summer nipping at her heels.
What a sweet shot of Daisy and unHairy. 🙂 You have the best sense of humor! I guess Sheila wanted a mudroom.
Here in NZ we too have a great golden full moon – shining across the sea… I don’t understand the movements of heavenly bodies… loved the cuddle… was that little Blue in the Daily View… I do look for a daily fix of Blue…
What a sweet moment captured, true friends! Your buds are a little more ahead than ours, perhaps this weekend we’ll jump forward.
Great post — like a chldren’s picture book. Nice job!
O Happy Day indeed. lovely to see Daisy and un-hairy Hairy together. We have a little plum and cherry blossom but no pear. The pear tree seems to have peach leaf curl.
Encouraging to see those buds. Poor unHairy – but I had to laugh.
