It was just such a lovely ordinary day. Delicious. Though I was dogged all day by the thought that I had forgotten something and I still cannot remember what. Don’t you hate that? And last night the full moon was so bright and so golden that Ton was growling at it as it shone through the bedroom windows, I put him out and he howled at the moon. Howled at the moon the crazy dog.
Sheila has been housekeeeping.
she was not happy with the flooring in the summer palace.
Daisy was called in and reunited with her bestest buddy unHairy macLairy. Poor fellow he is a shadow of his former self, not the man he used to be. I could go on!
Scrapper has been scrapping again.
and at last the pears are thinking about blooming.
and the peaches.
and the thistles need grubbing. Ah well. We do a few a day and the paddocks will eventually be cleared.
Good morning. It is almost 40 degrees at 6am in the morning and the sun is out! Fantastic!
I hope you all have a lovely day! See you tomorrow.

I was looking at the moon last night, a clear night and it shone and shone, my favourite is seeing it reflected in the sea, I’m sure Ton Ton would howl at that too! Happy days 🙂
Just wonderful, C…’delicious’ is the perfect way to describe it…
Fingers crossed for another, without that niggling feeling you’ve forgotten something….
Christ. I thought you meant it was 40C at 6am! Love the shot of Daisy and Unhairy. Good to see you’re into the good times.
I so enjoy the cross-species friendships at your place.
So happy all is well! Just love how the farmy is greening up and the fruit trees are blooming! xo
Buds and eggs and bare sheep, oh, my. You have filled my vision with spring this a.m. through these lovely photos. I am the mindset of spring with nearly all the snow melted here in southern Minnesota and temps predicted to reach 70 on Saturday. Great rejoicing from me. No green grass yet. But soon.
daisy and hairy are too precious. glad you are finally getting some good spring weather! maybe it’s time for the coupe roof?
‘Aaah now I can give you a hug’ …. says Daisy to unHairy 🙂 Lovely to see the fruit trees in bud, blooms and fruit next 🙂 Laura
Hairy macLairy was a sheep
His fuzzy hair he couldn’t keep
Hairy macLairy was Unhairy macLairy.
Sorry, I just couldn’t help myself! 😀
Have a great day Celi!
Good morning, Miss C. I like the new header and your clean, simple photos (Haven’t been here in awhile, you can tell.).
Obviously Daisy is concerned about Hairy’s nakedness. Whether is from a morality standpoint or a hypothermic one is unclear!!! Enjoy your sunshine.
Christine
So envious of the blooms on your trees – none for us yet, though we are to warm up to the 70s this weekend! I love love love the picture of Daisy hugging UnHairy, and how Big Dog and Blue are grzing in harmony in the front yard. Have a lovely day!
Looks like spring is about to pop :-). Were you able to grab that award-free artwork?
Whoohoo!! Sun!
Daisy loves Hairy regardless of looks 😉
