The moment Boo hears his kittens begin to cry for a feed, he busts into the house through the screen doors. And I do mean Bust In with a Crash. Then he rushes for their door and tries to jam his nose under the door until I get there with the bottle.
If I don’t keep their door closed he will go in and get them up, himself. He does not carry them by the scruff, he carries the whole kitten around its middle, so I am trying to discourage this. Though he is careful.
See how his head is up and alert. Some kitty has wandered off.
He likes to have all three of them in one space. He is a herding dog after all. Have you ever heard that expression,”Like herding cats?”. When they seperate and rush about into different areas he is a very uptight BooNanny. There are three kittens in the next short sequence. But with them all tangled together you need to search for them.
Little puss is in there too. It just took him a while to get over there. When Boo has them all in one space he is quiet. My dog can count. If he could warm and hold the bottle for them I would be obsolete!
Have a glorious day. Today we are racking the wine then crushing apples for apple cider, just as soon as I have picked the rest of the apples! It has been an amazingly stunning year for apples. You know the rules: Waste Not – Want Not!

Keep sharing the love Celi.
I love the way life works out. You find Bo, and bring him to the Farmy. Who knew one of his significant roles would be a kitty-nanny. I’m pretty sure you could create a whole new blog following with the pics and stories. They’ve been wonderful, and it seems we’d all love to see more, as well as the usual Farmy business 🙂
As Rosemary Richards says: ‘Keep sharing the love Celi’! This is something truly beautiful ~ the best particular series you have ever posted: it has warmed my heart . . . and Boo should get te ‘Nobel Love Prize’! Oh, hope you got a lot of apples picked . . . hmm, note you have kind’of been ‘demoted’ to second place 🙂 !
What is so special about this story is that Boo is considered a “bad boy”. What an arc for a story. Bad Boy becomes Good Mom. Not just Good Mom but Mom Extraordinaire.
Please break that promise. I’m sure we can’t get enough of these amazing scenes.

There is no such thing as “cuteness overload” in my world :)…….Must keep us all posted during the growing years for the babies so we can see how NannyBoo handles those horrid “teen years”! You know I’m a huge cat lover so I look forward to the “Kitty Saga” everyday!! Thanks for all the great posts and pics so far!! 🙂
Will those kittens grow up thinking they are dogs? They’ve certainly bonded with Boo. I can imagine in the future, cats herding cats!
Although I can understand that you’ve got more things to do than just sit around and take kitty pics, I sure will miss the photos. Seeing Boo and his buds makes my day.
Was another beautiful day today but I think we may have seen the last of the 80˚ days for the year. There are frost warnings to the North and West of the city tonight. It’s getting close …
Everyday now must be an “oh my god”, with eyebrows expressing this sentiment of sweetness. It’s almost heartbreaking in that way of love.
I love the kitten stage when they are so playful. It’s good to see the wee one out there, too. You could post Boo and kitten pictures every day, I wouldn’t mind.
Your Boo looks a lot like our Bagira, but they are exactly opposite in nature. Though Bagira too has a herding nature.
Apart from you, I think Boo may have been the kittens’ saviour !!
I LOVE Boo! And I love your blog too.
As everyone else has cried … more, please more! Love Boo and love, love, love those kittens! And you – wonderful you – thank you for saving these little ones!
Oh my!!! You know how I feel about orange kitties. Oh my. Loving this C!
