The moment Boo hears his kittens begin to cry for a feed, he busts into the house through the screen doors. And I do mean Bust In with a Crash. Then he rushes for their door and tries to jam his nose under the door until I get there with the bottle.
If I don’t keep their door closed he will go in and get them up, himself. He does not carry them by the scruff, he carries the whole kitten around its middle, so I am trying to discourage this. Though he is careful.
See how his head is up and alert. Some kitty has wandered off.
He likes to have all three of them in one space. He is a herding dog after all. Have you ever heard that expression,”Like herding cats?”. When they seperate and rush about into different areas he is a very uptight BooNanny. There are three kittens in the next short sequence. But with them all tangled together you need to search for them.
Little puss is in there too. It just took him a while to get over there. When Boo has them all in one space he is quiet. My dog can count. If he could warm and hold the bottle for them I would be obsolete!
Have a glorious day. Today we are racking the wine then crushing apples for apple cider, just as soon as I have picked the rest of the apples! It has been an amazingly stunning year for apples. You know the rules: Waste Not – Want Not!

I’m in agreement with the fellowship. Enough is not enough. Keep ’em coming. Love every word and image.
Just catching up with you and the farm after a busy couple of months, Celi! I see I have missed a lot—absolutely adorable.
Aw, so cute. Please don’t let this be the last one. I can’t get enough of Boo’s cats. Looks like the weak little mite is getting right in there and keeping up. Good to see. 🙂
Me too! More pics!!!! Makes me smile!!! 😀
I love all these Boo & Kitty pictures, as well. Boo must have the mouth of a retriever … very soft and those babies are safe in that soft mouth … I would love to see pics of him toting a baby around like that! So relieved to see the wee one gaining strength and able to climb all over Boo with the other kitties!! Have a wonderful Sunday!!!
I truly loved these pics! Boo is such a wonderful pup! His face says it all…. 🙂 He takes caring for his kitties quite seriously! Who couldn’t love him!!!! And them!!!! LOL
How many gallons of wine did you make? I am curious about the one without adding yeast. Hope it is a huge success!!!! I am still thinking about trying it. LOL
We have three carboys working from this years grapes (15 gallons). Lots of good wine to drink and give as gifts during the holidays! We design our own labels! So fun and a nice touch! I can’t put the corks in because it makes me nervous….we have a really nice machine for corking, but I prefer filling the bottles. I filled a bottle too high one time and it exploded!!! What a mess! Flying glass all over the place! Needless to say…I am afraid of corking!
Have fun with the cider making! Time consuming, but oh so worth it! Nothing better than homemade cider…we love it! Mulled cider on a nice winter evening with snow filtering down….makes the long winter seem shorter…almost! 😉
Going to start a cherry wine this week I am thinking. Picked quite a few cherries this year. Mmmm….. 😀 It is either that or canning some more cherry pomegranite jalapeno sauce for hams and pork roasts! Still up in the air about it. Still have two bottles from last year.
Have a great day!
p.s. Today we do garden clean up and tree clearing. Sun is coming up so it should be a nice day for it. Hope you have sunshine too! 😀
I don’t tire of Boo and kitten stories. They warm my heart. I don’t think the cats will hiss at him later. I think they will still be lovingly bonded.
What a grand calendar those photos would make! I’d buy it! I always buy the golden retriever calendars! All my pup friends would love this!!!! 🙂
Huzza for Boo and the wee one! Happy start to my day – thank you!
Ditto everyone above. And this would be such a darling children’s book. Anybody know the Alexandra Day books GOOD DOG CARL? If sweet Boo isn’t the real embodiment of Carl, I don’t know who is. These shots are priceless. pleased ease please don’t quit on us. They MAKE my day and clearly everyone else’s.
I bet the milk lady loves this story!
Boo is a wonderful doggie and the perfect kitty pillow. Please continue the updates. Hope you have a nice mild day for the wine and cider making.
Yes C…We could never see too much of NannyBoo and his babies!! 🙂
oh they are so cute all together, all four of them =) i would not mind another cuteness post!
No, you absolutely CANNOT stop posting these. Cannot. I need my daily Boo/Kitty fix!
I was afraid you all might be going into cuteness overload, but I am wrong! I will make sure there are updates.. now back to work for me! Picking, picking, picking! c
Don’t stop! I love the kitties and of course, Boo! what a good papa!
