Throwing in straw for the piggies.  Sheila was thrilled and slightly dismayed as she had to remake her bed.

Making me lunch and trimming naughty Marmalade’s fingernails.

You were all in the Lounge of Comments creating a magnificent reading list. There is still time today if you want to add the books you have loved reading this year.aabeaut-039

I did not comment myself yesterday to leave you room for more BOOKS! I am never without at least one book on the go. Like most of you I think.

aabeaut-026

You are all stars for bringing in all your stories and books for us all to read. Words should be shared I think.  Thank you all so much.

aabeaut-018

I am the luckiest girl to have you all.

And tomorrow I shall spend my couch time making the list and hopefully posting it today or tomorrow, so we can all benefit from being One of the Fellowship.  I  am going to put the list in my christmas cards this year!  Then I will start reading.

Happy Thanksgiving! Lots to be thankful for here!

Love your friend on the farmy,

  1. The Duke is still looking a bit disgruntled and ruffled. Hopefully he’ll be feeling heaps better very soon… Marmalade is growing into a proper young cat, not nearly so generically cute, much more personality. I don’t think he enjoyed the nail clipping, eh? Happy Thanksgiving to all the Americans out there, have a wonderful day, filled with family and gratitude.

    • I am not happy with The Dukes look. I had thought his medicine would be here by now, but the holiday is holding up deliveries.. bad luck.. but he is still eating and drinking.. c

  2. Happy Thanksgiving from across the Pond!! May the pain be bearable and love and togetherness abound! And methinks we all have new books on our lists – I know I have two already coming . . . .:) !

  3. This year has been a good reading year. Probably my fave books have been Burial Rites by Hannah Kent, Rod by Rod Stewart, The Light Between Oceans by May Stedman , the Aviators Wife by Melanie Benjamin and The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult.

    • I awoke last night to the sound of lapping water by my ear. There was naughty marmalade stretched up on her back paws, with her front paws around the rim of my water glass and her head in there, having a drink. I guess my water looked better than hers.. c

  4. Happy Feast Day to you and yours miss c, and bless Kristy and Miss A and Mr N for coming to your rescue. Thank you for all your wonderful blog posts. Laura

  5. Has the medication arrived for Kupa
it is good to know that you have some help…it will give your aching bone time to rest…
without my Kindle to read I would be totally lost..I don, t do actual books anymore as once a book is read I rarely reread so its a waste of money , paper and trees. Kindle gives me freedom.
I wish you and all the Fellowship a very happy Thankgiving Day..love from me xxxxx

  6. Here’s wishing you a great and Happy Thanksgiving! I hate to hear that you are down, but you know your body better than anyone else. Hopefully you will get enough reading material to keep you on the couch.
When my friend and I visited Natchez, MS last year, we discovered a local writer from there. Greg Isles writes suspense and so far the books I’ve read are based in Natchez and I am familiar with the areas he is referring to which makes the book even more intriguing to me.
So far ‘the devil’s punchbowl’ has been my favorite.
Looking forward to seeing the list.
    Brenda
