I must have put it down somewhere outside and for the life of me I cannot find it at all. The camera moves around with me all day so it is not uncommon for me to put it down then back track to collect it, but this is the first time it has disappeared completely.
At least it did not rain last night. But it is on its way. And it is going to be windy again – it is always windy this time of year.
What a weird thing to happen – losing my camera. But it has been pretty busy these last few days, my brain has a lot to remember. And we are all unusually tired – still working up to summer fitness I guess.
I need to get going early as I have pigs to deliver before I begin the day. I leave at 6.30 am.
Poppy is home, she is starting to belly down so later today I will let the piglets and Molly into the other side of the barn, then I will set up a creep in there for the piglets, then after they are familiar with the area I will lock them into the other side and shift Poppy into the farrowing pen. I will do all this over the course of a couple of days so no-one is rushed.
Poppy should give me a week but I am not betting on it.
I hope you are well and have a good day. I hate not having pictures. If Camera House does not turn up I will get my old camera back out.
Have a lovely day

Have you checked the freezer? I don’t know how many times I have had something in my hand when passing the freezers and I realize I should get something out… and of course I just leave the other thing there. I do hope it turns up before the rain!
How frustrating. It will show up somewhere ridiculous. If you are like me it will be somewhere you searched for it yesterday but didn’t see it.
Yikes!
How strange about your camera. I went to bed last night, then an hour later went back to search for my camera because I could not remember bringing it back in the house. It was near the computer so all was well. I did lose my new Fitbit though, and it will be lost to the rain if I don’t find it by tomorrow. The plastic holder was still attached to my work pants, but the device itself had popped out. I only had it a week. It was free through FD’s wellness program at his employer. Apparently they are not designed for people who do ranch work and put on more than 20K steps in a day. 😀
I wear mine on my wrist – have only lost it once since September – and found it three days later in a puddle of MUD – it still works! Hope you find it – i love mine.. c
I found the camera… safe inside the house, BUT my cell phone was missing all morning (I didn’t realize until my sister texted me on my iPad that she could’t reach me) and found it outside near the pellet grill (I’d been using the timer feature for steaks). Fortunately it only sprinkled rain so my cell is fine! I’ve never been so negligent before!!
I hope you find it before it rains. Do you hang it on doors maybe it’s with your coat?
When I forget where I have left something, all too frequently these days, only a very patient, slow rewind of where I have been since the loss works. Fingers crossed that works for you. 👌
I understand -i lost my kindle and finally found it on the floor. . Those kitties of mine knock things over. Hope you find it
I sure hope you find your camera- I have mislaid things also- and sometimes it takes awhile….good luck!
Which animal has eaten it?
Put TonTon on the case. It will turn up I hope the rest of your day goes well. Poppy will be the next momma. Expectations run high!
Hey, Kim! I had exactly the same first thought!……TIMA ATE IT!! Snorfle, chuckle!
It was obvious, right? Hehe
Hope you find it. What’s the saying, “It will be in the last place you look.” 🙂
I hope Camera House turns up quickly. The last time I thought I lost something it was sitting out in plain view, not where I put it however, the spouse moved it from where I set it down which was why I thought it was lost.
Was just looking around my apartment this morning for my glasses — checked all the usual places I tend to lay them down — finally discovered them when I sat down to eat breakfast – I was wearing them – sigh!
No worries C; just set it in the back of your mind and let the subconscious work it out…
Uh-oh. But never fear, the whole farmy is working on it. Even the humor helps. (I hope)
