  2. Yes, it’s Halloween night here too. I’ve never liked Halloween. It seems odd to me that it’s a ‘holiday’ where (some) people decorate their houses with grotesque things… Plastic skeletons bursting from the ground, decals of bloody handprints on the window, tombstones. Why not celebrate the beauty of autumn and changing of the seasons instead?

    Not to mention all the environmental impact of buying this sort of single-use plastic tat. I don’t understand why it’s considered fun to ‘celebrate’ the macabre. There’s enough scary stuff in real life.
