I have had enough of this big beautiful poopy peacock hanging out on the West verandah, dropping his big wet peacock droppings. And Him Indoors tromping it inside on the shoes he refuses to take off before walking over my clean floors.
Mr Flowers. My beautiful peaceful peacock.

So I am training him to the East porch.
His food is front and center in the window. Can you see?
So I just open the window and pour a little into a bowl on the table directly outside the window. He likes looking at himself in the window so all is well.

However now he is training ME! He taps with his beak on the window (trying to eat the seeds he sees in the jug through the window I bet) and every time he taps – I open the window ever so gently and pour a little in his bowl.

So now he taps. Regardless! I love it. We are doing well with our mutual training.
His tail is coming in beautifully this winter.
Have a lovely day. Happy Holidays.
Don’t forget to subscribe to my Letter from the Kitchens Garden Farm for the weekday TKG Take Ten and the weekend Letter. It’s free – though you can choose to upgrade to paid anytime – no worries. Maybe after the holidays. God knows we don’t need one more thing to do this week!
Take care. Talk soon.
