Jessica from Creativity’s Workshop has interviewed me for her pages and so the farmy and I are on her site today. Jessica is a writer. A spirited and generous writer. She is an Australian, living and working in China. She so believes that we are all creative that she writes about it. And challenges us all to engage our own creativity. Check out her book while you are over there.
So, lets pop over. Apparently The Big Dog is not leaving his wool mattress for anybody today, so he is on guard duty.
We had a little snow in the night and slowly the temperatures are warming up again. Thank Goodness. I see that my inbox is full of pictures so tomorrow I will show you the final selections for the postcards!!
See you over at the interview.
Good morning

That looks like a cozy warm bed! and congrats on the interview; heading over to read it now.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Thank you, Hope you have a great day too.. c
Loved it (have just finished reading it) and I´ll say…again…I so agree with your philisophy of life. I thought that the photo of you was beautiful, but then you´re a reversible person – beautiful on the inside and outside!
Thank you for dropping back over here Tanya, my son took that shot last year, I will tell him you liked it.. c
I’d love to be home curling up with Big Dog!!
I relocated his wooly mattress to the verandah and he spends all his time there now, watching the world go by like an old king.. c
Congrats to you, Miss C! I don’t know about any warming up as it is cold and snowing here now. t
Thanks Miss T, i call anything above freezing warming up!! c
I loved the interview and have subscribed to Jessica’s site. Celi I have a problem that I think you may be able to help me untangle. Once I read about your Nanny experience it occurred to me you might have an answer. May I email you..with details…..asking as I know how busy you are…
Thanks so much,
Chris
Of course chris, i am having a writing day today so i will be in and out of my email all day.. go right ahead.. c
Great interview, Celi! You are so right about tossing the TV and I’d pitch the video games, as well. Big Dog makes one heckuva sentinel. I certainly wouldn’t try to get past him.
I think he has finally discovered that wooly mattress! Some of the video games are pure evil now, very violent.. c
I’m off to have a read.
🙂 Mandy
I’m back – great interview Celi and what a beautiful photograph of you – just too stunning for words. 😀
Thank you Mandy. Isn’t it interesting how other people see a person. That is such a casual laughing photo.. c
Big Dog looks so cozy! I’d curl up with him this morning too if I could (a little too much celebrating last night haha).
good for you -celebrating last night! I have to warn you that Bog Dog is a wee bit smelly! c
I very much enjoyed reading the interview. I was interested to read about your inner drive and to learn that you carried a camera with you everywhere from the age of twelve. I wish you continued success with all that you do – and do so well.
Thank you, life is a journey and so we must journey on! c
That is one fine looking dog.
Did Jean ever tell you I was born in Mt Eden? Cheers, Brent from Wobbly.
You are an Auckland Boy? Welcome! c
A wonderful interview and a really a beautiful photo of you, Cecilia. What a life you have lived, continue to live, and what an inspiration you are to live life to its fullest. It was fun to get more insight and thanks for sharing yourself with us!
We all have big lives, mine is just a little more Out There! c
Big Dog’s got the right idea. Enjoyed the interview. Happy Bloggentines to all farm inhabitants of the farm

a faby interview, and I like your analagy with building – building on ideas etc it also gives me an even better picture of you, although the photo is a great one too!
I meant to add a bit about giving kids time to do nothing, I see some parents filling up the hours in some sort of relentless way, and I feel for those kids most….
I agree, absolutely, especially the english, those kids are flat out almost every day! c
Lovely interview! And Jessica does have a delightful site! I enjoyed reading more about your life, and for all the dissimilar circumstances, I would say we share a very similar ethos. I found that to be true and quite delightful! I love to find the differences and similarities in friends and celebrate both! Debra
I have been amazed at how there seems to be a congregating of like minds on these pages, even down to backgrounds! I suppose that makes sense.. c c
I love you dear Cecilia, with your amazing writing and smiling face and beautiful sharings… It was a wonderful interview… And how beautiful you are, I loved your photograph. And I loved this lovely The Big Dog! Do you know, it is so nice to see the world from your eyes… 🙂 Blessing and happiness. Thank you. With my love, nia
