You have two posts today: First the farmy – piggie presents!

We cannot miss a day on the farmy you know. Not many words today, as there are plenty in the story which I shall post in a minute for those of you who want to read it.

My story started off well then it worked its magic in a direction I had not expected.

So by posting it separately you have a choice as to whether you read a story or just enjoy the farmy.  Not everyone has much time in the Weblog world.

The old family dump truck came to visit yesterday. With piles of mulch from a friend.

And piles of dirt for the piggies from a neighbour who has been digging.   The field they call home gets resown next spring, so now the pigs have the job of spreading three dumptruck loads of soil. Yesterday there was quite a bit or work to be done as well as the writing.

Have a lovely Sunday/Monday.

On this day a year ago. I made pumpkin soup. What an excellent idea for a Sunday.

  1. How do the piggies spread the soil? I can’t wait for the story! I’m waiting for the bread to finish cooking so that I can go and have a zizz before Jock sets off to fetch my sister-in-law and her son from Rennes. Then it will be all systems go.

  2. Glad to see Sheila went straight to work. Lazy Sunday here, so will eagerly await the story … maybe after a Sunday afternoon snooze. Laura

  3. Gotta love that sky 🙂 Even the chooks, in the background, look excited about the new pile of soil, lots of fun to be had. I’ve never tried apple in pumpkin soup but I will, our Spring stll has a nip to it, so there’s time.

  4. I am mad for the piggies…and I can be a little late with my reading, but I always find time to get caught up, Celi. Not only loved the story, but now I want to get familiar with the pumpkin soup! 🙂
