I have to drive as fast as I can to town and catch the train to the Big City. But first I have to feed or visit all the animals then clean up and put some city clothes on my body. And lipstick, I need to find my lipstick! So my lips do not stick together.
So it is a Fellowship Day! You can take over… You write the captions and steal threads and talk amongst yourselves or just say Hi. I am fine with that too. If you are new introduce yourself, The Fellowship of the Farmy is a wonderful place to be and we love to know who is reading.
As usual all these images were taken yesterday. All I am writing is the names of each of the characters, so old or new to the Fellowship of the Farmy you are all invited to play! Just write whatever comes to mind when you see these shots.
1. Queenie Wineti.
2. Paisley Daisy.
3. TonTon and Piglets.
4.’Tiba. (yes he has a name now, but we are to share him with the neighbours evidently!)
5. Mama and Meadow.
6. Sheila.
7. Hairy MacLairy.
8. The Duke of Kupa.
9. Kupa, Sheila and The Bobby.
On my way home from the city this evening I have another long train ride back (with wifi) .. so I am looking forward to popping in and reading your captions on one day at the Farmy.
Good morning. Everyone can play. And as always every comment you make is worth reading. You are worth it. Always. Have a lovely day. Just because you can.
Right, must run!
love your friend, celi

#3 “it’s MY stick! They can NOT have it!”
Have a good day, C!
Look! She can’t have gone!! She just can’t . . . If we pretend really hard that everything is as normal, she’ll be there at the door!! Go’on, everybody!!!!!! . . .
PS Have a fab day: because just sometimes you CAN!!
#2 So much corn …. so little time, now if I just lean really hard on this fence… thinks Daisy
#7 Now if I just jam this stick in there, that chain will slip and I will be free to visit Mama.Hairy MacLairy
miss c, in answer to your question to Bulldog yesterday
1) mix precooked pumpkin or corn in the dough mixture and drop into the oil, eat as is
2) if making the larger vetkoek (donut) once cooked, drained and cooled slightly, cut open about 2/3rds way through add the curried mince, squish closed and enjoy 🙂 Laura
“I’d look better with a beanie,” said Queenie
“It’s all a bit hazy,” said Daisy.
Ton Ton said, “No!”
When the pigs said, “Let go!”
Tiba just thought: “This is crazy.”
Mama and Meadow took shade.
Sheila said, “I’ve got it made!”
Hairy just thought
Things he should not
about Life’s unending charade.
The Duke pecked about for a snack
His enthusiasm gone a bit slack
“Oh dear, oh dear
Celi’s not here!”
The farm cannot wait til she’s back.
Hey very good!!
I’ll second that.
Thank you!! I’m a mediocre poet but the invitation was too strong to resist..I’m writing from France…where are you and Lyn from? Have a good one!
Lol, love it! 🙂
I love this!!! You get my vote thus far for witty!!!!
Thanks Beth Ann…we’ve just had a death in the family and I think I needed some levity. The animals were just the ticket. I love Celi’s farm…it gives me a place to go…
So sorry for your loss. Animals always cheer me up whether they be pictures or the real life thing. Celi does such a great job of sharing with us, doesn’t she?
So clever, so evocative. But Charlotte, whose death? My e-mail: mmckinley2@mac.com
Thinking of you and the family as I face the challenging future on a similar path.
Brilliant!
EXCELLENT!!!

Queenie: Hey guys, she’s leaving!
Daisy: Who, What, When?!!
Ton Ton: Oh don’t you dare! Just because she’s out that doesn’t mean you get to do whatever you want!
Tiba: I’m not sure where I put that lipstick… Maybe Sheila ate it…
Mama: don’t worry kids, she’ll be back soon…
Sheila: I didn’t eat it! Ton, you are mean!
Hairy: please don’t go…
Kupa: bring me a new wife!
Kupa, Sheila and The Bobby: have fun Celi!!
😉
Another great entry into the caption pool!!! I think they are all worried Celi won’t come back!
😉 yes, you can see it in their eyes… Thanks Beth!
we need some like buttons here =) *like it*
We do indeed! Thanks Cat 🙂
Have fun Celi and don’t forget the sunglasses! Oh and maybe a new lipstick! Always think that days in a big town or city, although a nice change, always make me appreciate my home even more.

“I know, always the same look, see I am really the only reliable one, I am zen, I go with the flow, I am in fact to cool for school, none of that temperamental/pre menstral bolshy dairy cow business for me, what you see is what you get and what you get is good, end of story”
Er where is Charlotte? She has definitely earned a place in this list of late, perhaps she is somewhere cool and quiet catching up on lost sleep/food.
#6 “eat it, dig a hole in it, lie in it, I am contractually obligated and cannot sway from this path.
#8″ “Ok assume your positions, depth and perspective people, kupa can you do that silhouette business that you pea types are known for? Whats that The Bobby? Yes I know, it is rare for you to be featured. What are you doing Sheila? Oh eating it, dgging a hole in it, lying in it”
Oops, the one above is meant to be #9 not #8. Stopping now
#8 Celi’s gone away, whatever shall we do?
Celi’s gone away, I’m feeling Kind of Blue……
#7. “I need my blankie.” (Reminds me of a photo with my baby sister standing next to a post, her blanket draped over it. That’s about all I recall of that story.)
Have a great day in the city, Celi. The Farmy awaits your return.
Okay…
Queenie says “where she off to”
Paisley Daisy says “how do I get to that corn?”
TonTon and Piglets. piglets say “Hey TonTon.. got any milk?”
’Tiba. says “We’ll see who gives the most love and best food before I decide where to stay.”
Mama and Meadow. says..”Gonna be a hot one today”
Sheila. says ..”no truffles here”
Hairy MacLairy. (sorry) this ones just looks like its thinking “WTF”
The Duke of Kupa. “Where’s the Ladies?”
Kupa, Sheila and The Bobby. they all say together..”Get your lipstick and get out of here….!!”
Hairy MacLairy quote does seem appropriate! 🙂
Agree! That’s perfect. Wish I could have worked WTF into my poem, but there wasn’t a duck to rhyme with it. : )
🙂 Maybe miss c will collect a duck on the way back from the city. Laura
Ha ha!!
Hairy MacLairy… yes it just looks like it to me.. Ci can of course delete it if I’ve gone too far… LOL
I have no words —everyone before me has great captions! Have a fabulous day, Celi, and come back safe and sound to the Farmy!
“Piglets, don’t you know that Border Collies ALWAYS win the staring contests?!” (photo #3)
Celi, safe travels. I am on my way to Scotland to visit some wee islands with rare breed sheep and take a knitting course using their wool! Hard to leave my animals and farm but am sure it will be worth it.
If Skye happens to be one of them, call in for a cup of tea! Garybuie is in Glenhinnisdal but we don’t have any sheep I’m afraid, just ducks & chickens. Enjoy your trip.
Christine
oh that sounds amazing! have fun (i am sure you will;))
I think that Hairy is the sheep equivalent of Eeyore, so what ever he says, it will be slow and dead-pan!
Christine
