Dentally Challenged.
That’s me – after spending way too long in a dentist’s chair yesterday getting three permanent crowns in. Which did not stop me selling books though. Even the dentist is buying a copy of ‘Letters’ for his reception room now and his assistants are ordering them too.
Luckily our Jess, the last of the Woofettes, completed her gardening then made butternut soup for dinner. So my dentally challenged mouth could have something tasty for dinner. Because my bark is worse than my bite for the meantime.
Poppy is showing the signs of coming into heat every 21 days. This is very good. I still have to wait until January to breed her though, so she will farrow in the warm end of spring.
And I must get back in touch with Tima the Terrorist’s breeder to find out when her boyfriend is going to be born.
Mr Pink is still peeping about in the hen house. She is never quiet and has no tail feathers at all, which is unfortunate. I hope she gets some more feathers before winter.

And I do hope you all have a lovely day.
Your friend on the farmy,
miss c

I didn’t smile much as a kid and if I did I covered my mouth full of crooked teeth. My bite was off as well and I often had sore spots from biting into my cheeks or lower lip area. I had orthodontics at 30 and for four years waited for the apparatus to be removed. For nearly two decades now, I have been able to flash a big smile. As I age, and the wrinkles take over, I realize my smile and laughter are my best beauty secrets. And I can eat without biting trouble. Teeth are so important.
Mr. Pink is an oddball. Each time you write about her I think of the Mr. Pink that resides a little in all of us. Isn’t she wonderful? 🙂
A big smile! Oh yes! And yours is so joyous too. Mr Pink. Don’t you love the shot of her coming in through the door, stretching up to look over the shoulders of all those FAT hens. c
Everyone is looking so good, but I’m especially pleased to see how great Daisy looks! Hope your teeth feel better soon…anything at the dentist is never fun.
Daisy is looking shinier and healthier.. much much better… thank goodness.. c

Ugh, three crowns. (AND you have to pay for pleasure of the experience.) I hope you had a decent bottle of something to go with the soup. Feel better. Ken

So funny I should read your post about your mini-vacation in the dentist’s chair :). It’s 5pm and I also spent the last 2 hrs. on that same mini-vacation, getting a crown, filling and cleaning. Your stay was much more productive than mine though…how wonderful that the Fellowship Book will be gracing the table at the dentists’ office….my book arrived today and I will spend this lovely weekend reading!
Love the pic of Boo doing the high jump! Have a wonderful weekend, Celi! 🙂
No trouble with dog teeth by the look of it 😉
Oh…I dread the dentist!
