Fallen clothing

It is the time of year when I start the day wearing a few extra layers. nothing-much-003

No, you are not going to talk me into using the F word quite yet but there is a wee chill in the air when the dogs and I set out to walk both farms.

So I wear all these clothes to begin and through-out the day I lose them  – then later in the day I  retrace my steps as I retrace the work trying to find the layers to put back on again.

Almost all my farm clothes are hand me downs from Johns son or his neice.

This Carhart jacket  (which I did buy about four years ago) is looking pretty thin.  Just worn in really.

These pics were not set up. I took the camera with me while out looking for my clothes! Bet you do this too at this time of year!

Today I am catching up on barn work, house work, updating the cast of characters page and tomorrow, if John is not working, we will bring Aunty Del back here to be company for Queenie – the sheep are coming back as well. I thought I had a buyer for them though actually I don’t want to sell them until after the shearing in the spring. But if a good home comes up I will let them move sideways.    Marcel is jumping the fences over at the West barn so he will be more secure here while I am away.nothing-much-019

Your Marmalade.

I hope you all have a lovely day.

Your friend on the farmy,

  1. We’re looking at 24c today, and I’m undoing the usual layers very quickly indeed! I send you and the farmy all the best for a peaceful Sunday.

  2. We haven’t needed quite as many clothes layers here, yet. Sometimes just a light one, early, late and on those breezy days.
