Maybe this wee boarfriend for Tima? I have just heard that we can buy him. I would love to have him. This little kunekune boar is beautifully bred.
This is a shot of him when he was a baby (supplied by Lori Enright his breeder) and above with his sister when he was a bit younger, Mrs Enright will hold him for me until I get back then we will have him shipped from Southern California to Chicago in late October. He is only three months old but is big for his age and ridiculously handsome. A boar kunekune can start breeding about 8 months of age, usually a litttle later though and in five months Tima will be quite ready. Fingers crossed. It has been a long search to find an animal who has such beautiful lines and who is not related to Tima. Many thanks to Lori.
Lori is the founder of the USA Herd of Kunekune Pigs and very particular about her breeding program and so I am excited that she has given us the opportunity to buy one of her boys. Our own breeding program will be an exciting adventure!
It has turned cold. So I had better bundle up and get myself ready for my second to last day on the farmy.
Have a lovely day.
Your friend on the farmy

Love him already! Double trouble coming up… 😀
So Tima will soon have a toyboy! Great. I look forward to some more stuning pictures.

PS I love those eyelashes!
He is beautiful!
A toy boy! Ha ha! He is absolutely darling. I guess there is no chance of your getting a peek at him while you’re in California. I have visions of him in your lap on the flight home.
He is very handsome and I’m sure they will be double (and entertaining) trouble together. Are you planning to raise some of them for meat or all for selling on? I read the USA Herd site and discovered that they sell the meat to a restaurant quite close to me, Michael’s in Naples! Can’t wait to go sample it.

I am hoping that i can sell the kune’s as pets for people with large gardens, orchards, or small holdings. They are super friendly, very clean, do not dig and would make wonderful companions. It certainly will be an adventure.
I’m sure your packing is going well and all the buttons have been buttoned on the farm…hang tight you are about to fly out of here to big hugs and lots of sunshine in the land of your birth!!!
