Videos of Hereford Piglets

Because I think that Hereford piglets are the cutest piglets EVER. And Poppy’s babies are friendly and endlessly sweet.

Not too many words today so you can spend time smiling at babies. Amanda’s mother has come for a few days to help out in the gardens. So I am determined to be up and at ’em bright and early.  We can get some serious weeding  and planting done today.

It will be cooler today and there is no rain in the forecast today so I am sure we will get lots done.

OK one more look at the babies then off to work for us!

Have a lovely day.

Your friend on the farm,

celi

  1. I am smiling from ear to ear at the videos, I see Boo got a look in but did I miss Ton the scene stealer? The background chorus made the day.

  2. Aside from the few grunts I heard on the videos, your place sounds much the same as ours… birds chirping, rooster crowing, and other peaceful sounds of nature. Isn’t it just lovely? I love observing the farm animals. I get so delighted watching the chickens, squirrels and deer around here… and whatever else shows up. Last night we had a fox kit playing by itself on one of our flatbed trailers. Silly antics! And this morning one of my flip flops is missing from the front porch. I’ll probably never find it. No telling who or what ran off with it! I suspect the fox.

  3. Squeals! You know I have a special place in my heart for oinkers… cause you know I use to be a baby piglet once upon a time ❤ XOXO – Bacon

  4. The expression on that piglet’s face after he/she stepped back when Poppy fell over is priceless. Shaking its head like…”I snuck a snack and dodged a bullet there, oh yes!” And I love how loving and tender Poppy is with her piglets. Of course they are adorable so how could she not be? There’s a book in this batch of piglets. 🙂

  5. I couldn’t access the video on my old iPad. Had to wait to get to the desk to enjoy these sweet little creatures. So so so cute. Enjoy hearing that rooster too and seeing Boo in the background. Looks like it might be drying up a bit for you. Sure hope so. Sunny here today. Actually a pretty day.

  6. Have you chosen which little girl you’re going to keep?
How about Tima? Has she come back into heat? I know you said that Tane wasn’t able to breed her again, but didn’t know if that meant because he wasn’t well enough to do it or whether you thought Tima was pregnant already.

  7. Awwwww! Love the chunky, lively little things, with their big floppy ears and beady eyes. And how sweet is Poppy with them, checking them over… Thank you for that lovely bit of FarmyCam – the sights and sounds, but not the smells, sadly!

  8. Nice to step out of the city and into the Farmy for a while. Modern technology! So pleased the piglets and Poppy and happy, healthy and relaxed 🙂
