Everything is good.
I have FIVE young people staying now. So there is a lot of wriggling about until we develop the new systems. The French boys are already making themselves at home – they are so brave to come this far and today we are flying through the work.
I have no pictures – it was way too fast for Camera House yesterday (or this morning) and it is HOT and awfully humid.
I am Kitchen Mama today. Both the Head Gardener and the Swine Herd have apprentices. Dairy Maid is not sharing!
Today is cooler.
Back tomorrow with tons of pictures and words. For now – busy I am!
Love it
Love celi
(I took that shot of the rooster the other day but that is EXACTLY how I feel! )

I hope the Head Gardener provides Kitchen Mama with something nice to cook 🙂
With hands on hip – or wing on thigh – pleasantly surveying, guiding……prodding!
Love that description!
Me, too!!! Much love, Your Gayle
He’s a beauty.
Sounds like it is “full speed ahead” just like on Star Trek!!! Looking forward to ‘the scoop” and pictures tomorrow!!! xo
nice tail feathers, lady 😉
I hope the heat turns down for you in the coming days. Hours. Minutes. :). We are in the grip of an awful heat wave here, too, and I can’t imagine being a farmer in the middle of it! Be well.
I take it you’re crowing. I hope you all have fun, as well as working hard.
It was a relief to see your email come into my mailbox. Seemed strange to stop into your kitchen this morning and not see you around today. We ‘Friends of the Farmy’ are spread all over the world … but should you disappear without notice there would be calls into your local constabulary to check that you were okay! 😉 Glad all is well – and BUSY!
Ha ha – yes – c
Enjoy the moment!
Bliss is having so many hands to help! Cheers
That rooster seems slightly stunned at the speed of events, with his beak ajar. I’m enjoying a mental image of you as a (relative) still point in the kitchen with a swirl of Youth of All Nations around you talking, sharing ideas, eating, discussing the day’s work and the next day’s. What did you feed this tumble of humanity, Miss C?
Warm Roast vegetable salad (with an aoli dressing), roast beef sliced extra thin, huge Mama salad and vegetable rissoles. They gobbled it all up bless them. I love feeding hungry kids.. c
Then you are in your element!!! Yet more love, still your Gayle
So much going on there at The Farmy!! ; o )
I’m smiling from ear to ear. i feel the swirl and know how much young people can eat. Young men especially. Bottomless pits. I get the rooster image. 🙂
Stay cool!
