  1. Your lovely Farmy and her animals breed the most beautiful, healthy, glossy, long-eyelashed babies. Rainbow has an extraordinary personality peeking out of those amazing topaz eyes already…

  2. Are you OK? xxxx

  3. Just Beautiful ! Thank you for sharing your wonderful farm with us.

  4. I love your little farm and her animals too, and that tipsy toeing ballet dancing farmer nurse ain’t bad either.

  5. LOve all the babies, do we know Rainbows sex yet? We have had wild crashing storms all day and lots of rain 🙂 Enjoy your long lunch 🙂 Laura

  6. Rainbow’s eyes and lids are unique, and I’d swear her nose is smiling! For such a young lady, she sure has that ‘come hither’ look, and the beauty of her red tresses just adds to the whole glorious picture of herself!

  7. These photos made my day! Sweet piglets and calves with their moms and the chickens thrown in for fun. Enjoy your day in the city.

  8. Hope you had a fabulous change of pace, a bit of a break and a very enjoyable lunch!! Those eyelashes . . . oh those eyelashes 🙂 !

  9. Hope your ‘day off’ does wonders for you! I had a getaway yesterday, no big cities but and hour north and lunch out with my sister. It did me good. Such a lot of loverly critters you have.

  10. I have a question for you, if you would indulge me. Do you have any favorite books for how to raise pigs? I’ve never had any in my life and I’d like to possibly have a couple for raise for meat and as my personal clean up crew for orchard drops. Any help you can give would be excellent! Thank you!

    • Good morning. The short answer is no- no book – I pretty much learnt on my feet. But I would be happy to help in any way. Are you thinking of buying a few in?

      • We were thinking of getting feeder piglets one spring and letting them live in the orchard, then finishing them on the fruit drop. After that they would be butchered out and sold. We wont be doing this right away, I’m just gathering info.

  11. Nothing “just” about this post. It’s packed full of awesome-ness.
