Not blog posts you understand. Though it is true that my blog posts do never lie.

Fence Post Failure
I just realized yesterday that FreeBee and Jude have been using this post ( below and in the header) as a scratching post.
While watching Free Bee give her muddy haunch a generous scratch I heard the post crack and it yawed out towards me. And – yes – of course- the post is holding the gate up – much more scratching of their arses would have resulted in a bent gate and a slow get away. Soon.
And I am going away. Soon.
So, today in amongst all the other million things on my list that is not really a list just words building up in my head, I will shift Tima to the wilding field, and let Jude and FreeBee into the East field. Then close the gate after them.

The shelter there is not really adequate but there are big patches of shade. And two little houses.
Needs must!
And it will do until John gets back and replaces that post. Which will be after I am gone. Then he will open the gate and let them back in.
These pigs are like that fish in that story! They keep growing out of their bowls!
Good morning!

I heard from Duane last night that the new website is loaded (populated) and ready to go. I have a number of The Fellowship in mind for a soft launch – just to test a trial post – so if you want to join that test group – let me know.
Email: celima.g.7@gmail.com
You will see me here again tomorrow for sure : Then for a few days I will post there and link from here as well, until everyone who is a real person will flick to the new site.
This will take us across my travel days too!
Hopefully you are all already on my email list. With any luck we leave all the fake accounts and trolls behind!
There will be trial and error but I’m up for the challenge!
Once everything is in place we will have a proper launch with balloons and giveaways!!

oh my there is always something that needs to be fixed! Good thing you saw it! Have a good week! xoxo
I know!! Imagine these two lumbering around when I was not here!
Never rains but it pours! Bad timing but at least you did see it! Bad/gorgeous pigs!
They lie about in the wallow then the wander about in the heat – then the mud cracks then they scrape it off on the posts. Such a life!
I know! They are in a field already – and more than happy.
lol, that’s exactly what I just thought Andrea – talk about being in the right place at the right time! And wow Celi, what a great way for seeds to travel from one place to another while picked up in the still-wet muck, hey?
That is true! Probably thistle seeds !! 😂🥲
Everything seems to happen when you are in a hurry to leave. There has to be a Murphy’s Law in there somewhere. But, at least you saw it before the grand escape.
Freebee has turned into an Iberian black pig! She’ll be asking for a steady supply of acorns!
Yes!! She is presently sleeping under a black walnut tree – the next best thing?
I believe walnuts are good for pigs and they do contain oleic acid like acorns do.
They love them / they eat them shells and all!
