Quacker Gymnastics

What is the word for sad and happy.

This blog site is like an old comfy couch that we are leaving for a beautiful cushiony swing on the porch. I am excited about the swing chair on the porch but still I will be sad to leave our old lumpy couch. It still bears the imprint of my bottom!

I have officially reached warp speed!

John has begun his journey back to the farm to take over – which is a relief in itself.

All the animals and birds are settled. (Touch wood). The gardens are all up to date. The Matriarch is ok. The flights are lining up. I have organized myself a decompress in LA before I fly out to NZ. Now I pack and unpack and pack again. I need to find two more presents and to stock the fridge for the farm hands.

I leave here on Sunday – in two days.

Did we always have a weight restriction on our suitcases? I remember having to be weighed myself before getting on a plane in a storm once. I was a child. Now that’s a story.

Remind me to write that one down.

I am not supposed to put video in my blog posts anymore because evidently it is like doing an old fashioned dial up call to google and slows the page down. But if you don’t tell Duane – I won’t.

Quacker is such a dear. But has not hatched a thing.

I have a wonderful slow launch test team – I will be emailing you all this evening. I expect we will knock Duane’s socks off with comments. I am hopelessly in love with The Fellowship.

A little portrait of Quacker doing her daily yoga poolside.

This post is short. I know. I have to run. And I will be back here tomorrow! So stay tuned.

If this evenings test post does as we expect then on Monday we will pack the TKG bus and roll across. I will post from the new site then jump on a plane while you all have a look around!

And I will post from TKG.org going forward. 🥂🍾🥂 Monday – onwards. This is my plan anyway.

Promise me you will come with me. I could not bear to lose you. Remember you will need to resubscribe over there. And you can choose to disconnect yourself from here. (I will post from here every now and then over the first few weeks to let people know where we have gone). The blog becomes our archives.

We are a community. My greatest fear is losing real people in my dash to outrun the fake people and the real bug and broken connections.

PS If you have any trouble subscribing at TKG.org you can hit the contact button and text or email me. The text is set to WhatsApp while I travel so I can answer you from anywhere in the world. You can get in touch directly with me through the little chat button.

Comments are where it is at though – we have gone to great lengths to insure that you all can comment again and I will answer those comments from wherever I am!

I love that!!

Communication. Community. Safe. Living Light. (though not necessarily travelling light – too many kids!).

Back soon.
