Bright and Shiny Sun

Hospital Day today. Not urgent. But the hospitals are miles away when one lives down in the country.

We will be gone all day.

Which means a picture day for you! Because I need to hurry through chores then get going.

The sun came out yesterday afternoon. After days of gloom.

I was doing house-keeping in the barn. Tall came out to help me – I have gotten so behind.

The skies cleared like old backdrops in a theatre. And it just got better.

Hopefully this helps us dry out a bit.

This was my last shot last night. See the moon rising?

It dawned sunny again this morning and white with frost.

Take care. Talk soon.

Pop in to TKG Take Ten if you feel like a peaceful ten minutes on the farm. The clips come out at 5pm central (Illinois, USA) every week day.

I am going to experiment with shooting ten minutes of country from the car. Out the side window. So stand by for that – (or something else if it does not work) – this evening.

  1. Sun shining this morming here in Georgia, too. The animals (cats) just woke up for breakfast. Supposed to get sunny and chilly (but not freezing, yet) the next couple of days.

  2. Here it comes shining through the window right this minute & sparkling thousands of
dripping diamonds along bare branches. So welcome after days of gloom & rain.

  3. Be happy your weather is not double-cyclone strength as on parts of the Coast here . . . a Christmas of unparalleled damage to many and hundreds of thousands in southern Queensland will not have power until the New Year. A number of deaths one does not usually expect . . . many yearly crops lost . . . so > be happy with yours . . . hope all was reasonable with your MIL or darling husband, whichever . . .

  4. Your farm looks like a fun place to photograph! I have been shooting old barn and farm buildings for a long time. Out here in Colorado everything is a ranch. There aren’t a lot of buildings and leave livestock out all year long. Great post … I enjoyed seeing and reading!

    • Hello Denise and yes! When I first started blogging – back in the dark ages😂 – I wondered if I would have enough for a daily set of images! But there is never nothing to take a picture of! Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting.

  5. Always meant to ask this Celi (and here it is now several days after seeing this post and being reminded again:/) but what is/was it that caused the injury and subsequent wasting of Mr Flowers foot?
