Jude is watching Tima carefully in case she decides to climb the fence. Tima is remarkably unfazed by the attention.
And lest we forget how huge Big Jude is. And no he does not eat a lot. The bigger you are the less you need to eat actually. If you are pig.
The sun is out!
My shoulders hurt from cleaning out the cow shed yesterday. (I hate dirty cows so I scoop for my health and theirs). Today I begin that corridor where Tima is standing (see above). I will scoop that right out into the mud holes outside the barn. The chickens will spread it around.
The chickens are great housekeeping assistants.

My chickens have always been good gardening companions, when they are able. I’ve had to be careful, though, lest they dive under a rake or shovel, or my feet.
Ha ha – Mr Flowers looks a lot less guilty than Tima!

A dear friend of ours has chickens too. They all have such distinct, different personalities. Her favorite is the little, fancy beige, orphan chicken with one eye. She’s something else! Hope your day is great too!🌟
