We go up above freezing today.
For about four hours. Then again tomorrow. Hopefully, the barn can thaw a little in this time. Then I will scoop and clean out and lay clean straw for a few hours.
It will be nice to be able to stay outside longer.

I have never seen a sunset like this.
It was very cold.
It felt like the sky was trying to tell me something.
Ok. I have no more words this morning.
I will get going and keep busy. Keeping busy is the best thing when you feel your mind slipping into the worries.

That sunset is amazing….and I love the chicks…huddled together for warmth.
Nice sun pillar. You only get those when it is REALLY cold and there are the right kind of ice crystals in the air. Glad I am here in Northern CA where it is only getting down into the 30’s at night. Don’t know if I could handle the kind of cold you are getting.
Hi there Kenny! I don’t handle the cold terribly well to be fair. I spend all winter grumbling! But the skies are magnificent!
