A walk down memory lane for you and me

Good morning from Australia.

I no longer post here as I cannot add pictures anymore so we have shifted The Kitchens Garden over HERE.

This site is still open as long as I pay for it so you can leave messages here too – I still get the notifications. Once you are safely signed in to the new site (it is free though there is a paid option too which helps feed the animals while I am away) – you can unsubscribe from here if you like – to cut down on notifications.

I am just happy to see you and carry on our conversations.

I am still in Australia helping my daughter with her new baby but will be back on the farm for a short visit in a month. So don’t miss out on those pictures!

Go HERE to visit me.

I am there often as I no longer have a presence on social media anywhere else. Let’s not lose each other!

I have just published a post that takes us down memory lane! All about the food our international farm visitors brought to our land. Immigration is not just about people our culture is enriched with food too!

I am posting a couple of times a week on our new site.

So come on over.

New babies mean sleep deprivation (and chronic lack of writing tine) but at least there are no longer nappies to wash like in the old days!!

See you on the other side.

Celi.

  1. HI Celi,

Here’s a strange thing. I clicked to unsubscribe and was told my suscription was not found. So I must be unsubscribed (I think I did that a while back).

Why then am I still receiving messages from The Kitchen’s Garden?

  2. Hello Cecilia (from the UK, where we’ve been having quite a heatwave these past few weeks) 👋 I’ve been reading your Substack posts but haven’t been organised enough to set myself up with an account and see how I can comment over there. Will do that soon! It’s lovely to hear the baby updates – big congratulations to you and your daughter 😊

  3. Please continue to leave those breadcrumbs. Totally enjoy keeping up with your wanderings and musings.

(WP is getting a bit unstable and sometimes annoying, so interested in your substack move. Everyone is having issues with WP unsubscribing people. Not on any social media either except WP as I have time.)

Pies for all! Seems like each society has some sort of “little pie”.

One of the best things about living in coastal TX is all the different types of food – your stomach may be more well traveled than your feet HAHAHAHA

Congrats on the new granddaughter. Enjoy and dance on!
