BACK TO BUSINESS
We need some kind of update I think after that break in transmission due the breakdown in communication with Molly the sow which sent me into a bit of a spin. So here goes.

AN ALTERCATION
Yesterday Molly took offense to me cleaning her floor. I have done this every day for all her confinement’s but it is never good to be complacent around a newly farrowed sow. I ended up with stitches from a pretty bad bite to the left hand.

MOLLY’S EIGHT
Molly had eight live babies yesterday evening and into the night. It was not a warm night, and I found it hard to keep them warmed up so it was a long night.

OH THE MUD
Still no sign of babies from Molly. Nine eggs from the ducks. Over twenty four eggs daily from the chickens. The weather is, at last, warming up a little. And oh the mud.
