A SEA CHANGE
We have sun. A sea change. A striking change. A sun change ” … into something rich and strange.” A sunny day. Not a warm day particularly. But after such a gray and dark winter – the appearance of sun leaves us gasping with delight.

SNOW GEESE
The snow white geese flew overhead in a huge cloud, kept low by the gray heavy sky. There were hundreds of them. Calling like gulls after a fishing boat. The large group circled around a field of water dropping lower and lower. Spiraling down and dropping, one by one as they laid their bodies in rows…

WORKING TOWARDS SPRING
Believe it or not there are signs that the seasons are changing. Slowly – slowly. The icy muck tells us that the struggle between winter and summer has begun.

THE WATER HOLE
Yesterday was divided between long periods of sitting waiting as I flew impossibly through the sky and then short periods with long corridors of full out “excuse me!, coming through”! RUNNING.
