I took a bite of an apple to see if it was ready to be picked.. not quite but still very tasty, crisp and warm from the sun. But that is not the good news.

The Duke of Kupa probably knew before us. He is clever that way. Here’s the news.. Tah Dah!! Drum roll!!
Daisy and Queenie are BOTH pregnant.. Isn’t that the Most Excellent News.
What do you think about that Queenie?
The average cow is pregnant 283 days. Just over nine months. They were both bred in June.
So I think Daisy is due March 14th, 2014. and Queenie is due April 4th, 2014.
I am just thrilled to bits. Now we can start next years planning.
I shall pick extra long corn stalks for our two expecting mothers this morning.
Have a lovely day.

I am jealous of your tomatoes, it has been so cool at night that ours are not ripening (it feels more like September) although I have 10 quarts of pears to do something with. Have a lovely day!
