Sometimes we don’t need many words. Sometimes we need the words of the masters.
Because we are surrounded in beauty.
“Think of all the beauty still left around you and be happy.”
― Anne Frank
“Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.”
― Marc Riboud
“Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.”
― Confucius
“There is no exquisite beauty… without some strangeness in the proportion.”
― Edgar Allan Poe
“Beauty is not caused. It is.”
― Emily Dickinson
“Dwell on the beauty of life. Watch the stars, and see yourself running with them.”
― Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
“Here is the world. Beautiful and terrible things will happen. Don’t be afraid.”
― Frederick Buechner
“Summer afternoon—summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.”
― Henry James
“There are no bad pictures; that’s just how your face looks sometimes.”
“As if you were on fire from within.
The moon lives in the lining of your skin.”
― Pablo Neruda
Neruda is my favourite poet.
One more for luck:
“No spring nor summer beauty hath such grace as I have seen in one autumnal face.”
― John Donne
I know you all see beauty every day in the smallest and most unusual places. That’s why you, The Fellowship, are beautiful. Even though we live in all corners of this spinning, reluctant, unpredictable globe, though a globe has no corners, and we can predict the sunrise. And sometimes people are mean and we don’t understand why, even so, we have found each other. Let the mean people hear their own words echo in our silence, we shall not join them.
Welcome to all the new members of The Fellowship of the Farmy. Remember that if you like an image you are welcome to steal it. If you like a comment you are welcome to join in anywhere. If you like a thread you are welcome to pull on it. And if you like my words you are welcome to share them. Kindness is our greatest strength. Apply the kindness.
Have a lovely day.
your friend on the farm, celi

Truly we are surrounded by beauty. Thank you for reminding us all. And your sweet creatures each in their own way are so very special.
LOVE the morning first photo! And a TonTon two-fer!
You know Ton, he sees a camera and goes very still.. c
Any beholder who does not have beauty in the eye at your place is truly blind. Oh, and I suppose the bee holders are also things of beauty!
Ah the Bee Holders, beauty indeed.. c
Kindness, like a smile, is no good until you give it away!
Oh.. brilliant.. thank you granny mar.. you know my kids call me celima.. c
Boo and one of the Gingers… made me laugh 😀 Not only do you have such a gift for seeing beauty but you honour it and us, by sharing… thank you… the images do not take themselves, or the words automatically appear on the screen in between all else that you do to make the Farmy available to us around the globe in our many different time zones and lives.
That shot is of Egoli eating his breakfast and Boo has been told NOT TO TOUCH! Too funny.
That dog is into everything.. but he did not touch.. c
They are now keeping me company via my desktop background 🙂

Beautiful post Celi, with photos to match . . . there is much beauty around us, we just have to open our eyes to it!
Yet another post to file in the Keep box to have forever. I feel so grateful for your glorious posts, Celi, they are unmissable. can’t you put them all together in a book? we would all buy it….
Yes, I often think that kindness is the most important ingredient in every day…
This post created a halo of blessings, sent across time and space. The quotes and images are beautiful. You have caught the light just perfectly. Kindness and goodness is spreading from the farmy across the globe. Thank you for being there.
Just the post needed today. (The mosquitoes are swarming so bad we can’t get out – and the news is grim)
That quote by Poe – so like him!
Thanks, think I’ll stop with the farmy. No better way to close out a day
Yes to kindness. Beautiful. X
I love the photos of all your creatures, but Ton and Blue are my very favorites.
