Good morning

I am having a quiet blog day today.

I went down to the local pub last night, when I got home a great weariness descended upon me and this morning my brain hurts. abc-008

I hope you all have a lovely day. Marcel is very active, putting on weight making lots of noise but he still is not pooping properly. I will give him another enema this morning. Nasty as that sounds it can gently move along anything that has built up in there.  I have also ordered some lamb formula as my friends milk  cow is being dried up.  Though the change of feed will be gradual for him it may make a difference.

  1. Everyone is entitled to a slow morning or day off, now and then. Sounds like the evening in the pub was fun. If you are not keen on a greasy breakfast post pub visit, how about a large glass of milk before you venture out in the evening, it is good for lining the stomach.

  2. Glad you are getting lamb milk replacer. We always used Land O Lakes brand. Ewe’s milk has more fat than any other animal. Cows milk does not have the right nutrients for a lamb, actually. Are you giving him some nice fine hay to nibble on? Sorry you are kind of out of it today…but we all need a day off now and then. You know…..all work and no play.

    • I have some land o lakes on its way. I cannot get it here os have had to have it couriered in, you can imagine .. yes he has a wee bucket of chopped hay and his water, and this week i will get some kibble for him to play with.. c

  3. Oh Celi ~ it is not very nice to admit I am grinning like a Cheshire cat reading all these post-pub comments, now is it 🙂 !!! But isn’t the Fellowship of the Farmy great in its knowledge of how to ‘fight’ lambkin constipation . . . .;) !!!

  4. I can’t imagine that all the constipation cures are too appealing on a morning after! My go to when I did imbibe a little to heartily (don’t do it much anymore, recovery time seems to have gotten much longer) was a bowl of Frosted Flakes with a chocolate milk shake a bit later. It’s just not fair that a jolly evening doesn’t become a happy morning !

  5. Rest well. I’m always happy to see you taking a break as you’ve been through another emotionally and physically demanding time.
