Day Off

Morning darlings. chaos1-015

I have discovered that if I sing the score of The Sound of Music, Daisy stands quietly to be milked. Apparently she is tired of Oklahoma and South Pacific! Ah well.  One does what one must. chaos1-005

Unless something very exciting happens,  that I desperately need to tell you, I am going to take tomorrow off and focus on the gardens and the writing.

I hope you have a lovely day too.

  1. Well, since this blog is one of my favorite things, I will just do something good with my day, perhaps get some exercise and climb every mountain in the area. I bid you so long, farewell, until we meet again in bloggyland. I yearn for the days when I was sixteen, going on seventeen, rolling in edelweiss with my lonely goatherd….(too much you say?)

    Have a great weekend!

  2. Kudos to Kim for a brilliant comment, and yeah, I know all the words to every song, too. (The recent live version was an abomination.) Enjoy your day off, Celi! We’ll miss you but you deserve it.

  3. Happy talky talky happy talk. Talk about things you like to do, like a day off! You got to have a dream. If you don’t have a dream. How you gonna have a dream come true?

  4. OMG! That sweet Marcel and Queenie’s Bobby. How do you ever manage to catch such a sight! A day without Celi is a day without the sun, but I hope you take time to relax and enjoy yourself. We’re supposed to have a beautiful day today and tomorrow. Not so much Memorial Day.

  5. Try some Hawaiian slack key guitar. I have found that Paul Togioka’s “Ki Ho’alu Inn” relaxes man and animal alike.

  6. I’m watching two baby goats defy gravity, and keeping an eye on a pregnant doe who has me a bit concerned. Generally speaking, a very lazy Saturday in the barn 😉
    Enjoy your day!
