And Heat turning up. Though, we had a foggy start yesterday the warm wind came up and commenced to dry the hay nicely. Fingers crossed.
Daisy’s production is still holding steady at 45 – 50 pounds per milking. (That is over 90 pounds a day. Eating nothing but good forage and weeds and kale, carrots or potatoes (or whatever came from the store) in her bin at milking time. The plonkers are loving the milk.
The peacocks are coming out of the barn, Carlos Garcia is surprisingly tame.
Though not always appropriate.
Why are your ears up like that Aunty Del?
Ah, you have a visitor. Poppy back into your field. Sheila will be missing you soon.
You can get out the way you got in Poppy the Wanderer.

Piece of cake Miss C.
Not everything is always pretty. But look at that little chick Run.
I hope you have a lovely day.

Summer does indeed seem to have come to the farmy. I love the mother hen frogmarching her baby out of shot! And that Poppy will have to watch out, it won’t be long until she won’t be able to squeeze in and out of tight spaces.
I told her .. one morning i will come out and she will be stuck!.. c
I was just thinking the same thing…Then after stuck, she will grow big enough to lift and be back at it!

Pigs can get under amazingly small spaces. Like water, they are!

Thinking dry thoughts for you and your hay. The weather forecast (at this point in time) looks promising through Sunday afternoon. Miss Poppy is growing up. Love the the look on Aunty Del’s face over her uninvited guest. I knew she was perturbed about something with the set of her ears.
Thanks for the morning smiles!
Everybody loves summer. All the animals want to be outside . That is a very cute pig.
