Hay laid Down

And Heat turning up.  Though, we had a foggy start yesterday the warm wind came up and commenced to dry the hay nicely.  Fingers crossed. aa111-hay-down-061

Daisy’s production is still holding steady at 45 – 50 pounds per milking. (That is over 90 pounds a day. Eating nothing but good forage and weeds and kale, carrots or potatoes (or whatever came from the store)  in her bin at milking time.  The plonkers are loving the milk.

The peacocks are coming out of the barn, Carlos Garcia is surprisingly tame. shifty-chickens-006

Though not always appropriate.

  1. Look at CG trying to show off! If he were human his voice would crack. Aunty Del is such a pretty girl, with that perfect complexion.

  2. I imagine the newly cut field smells lovely, not just to the dogs. Hopefully Mother Nature and the weather gods will do you a favor and look the other way while the hay dries. Enjoy the sunshine.
