The sky is getting darker as I write. The winds are howling hurling the humid air about. Threatening to rain on my hay for the next 24 hours. I have just come in from chores for a quick breakfast. The baler man is almost here on his way to another field and then I am going to work to get all the hay in the barn before the weather gets it. It is only just ready to bale but I am not having it rained on. Salting and loose stacking will fill my day. I will let you know later how many bales. It is beautiful hay!
So no worries, I have some work ahead of me. Plus my writing is due today. Plus I HAVE to move the broiler chicks to the stock trailer they are way too big for their brooder now. I must do that today.. and did I mention that my deadline is HERE. The work is ready but there are just few things…. … I know I know.. I hear you darlinks.
I will be back tomorrow!
Love c

I hope clear weather comes around soon. Wish you all the best.
What do you mean by salting? Does it have something to do with the hay?
if the hay is wet, it is a good idea to sprinkle a little stock salt on top to draw out the water, (an old man hay maker taught me this) and the cows need the stock salt anyway do it works two ways.. c
