And there is no apostrophe on purpose. Because the chickens were running out their new door. Into their new run.
The AHA moment.
There is a good door too for when I lock them back in at night. The girls laboured all day to get this chooks run finished, once the rain had stopped. And now the chooks can finally get outside.
I hope you have a lovely day.
Your friend on the farmy,

LOL, love the gentlemanly rooster letting the girls go first 🙂 Laura
Ha ha,,…..that’s cause he is chicken.
Great pictures, nice looking hens and rooster. Good job.
Delighted to see this wonderful project up and running!
A great job by those girls. The chooks must be delighted.

Your chickens are so pretty and healthy-looking. Happy too.
I love it when the Aha! moment hits their tiny little chook brains and you see the light go on. Now, of course, they will saunter out there as if they’d invented the whole idea of doors. Your chooks are looking fabulously glossy, plump and healthy!
I had the soundtrack to a Saturday afternoon race call in my head… “and there off and racing…”. Lovely chooks 🙂
Fun shots of the chickens finding their way out to the run.
“I’m free! I’m free!” Ha. 😉
Beautiful chooks running out their lovely new door. The big white Rooster looks like he is wearing a pair of feathery pantaloons from the rear view – never though a chicken tush would have me laughing!
Kudos for capturing the AHA moment!
