At which LuLu says a bad word…

… and Pania laughs – (in a mean way).

– but on the inside.

I had to laugh too. Poor LuLu. I could imagine Godot  shrieking with laughter.. “Caught us a Cat we have!”

Good morning. We had sun yesterday and it was not too cold. Warmer than the forecast I thought. So  I dragged the hoses out of the basement and emptied and refilled all the water troughs with fresh water.   (The chooks were very grateful). The pigs wandered about. Sheila’s hocks turned quite pink from ploughing through the snow. Tima’s hair has started to grow back and the Mad’s pigeons sunned themselves on the roof of the barn.

It was a good day.

I hope you have a good day today.

  1. Poor Lulu, she got more bird than she bargained for, me thinks. That Tui has the death stare perfected. As my Mom used to say “She has face that would fry an egg”. Wonderful photo-essay Ms. C. I hope things ended well for Lulu.

  2. Thanks you for a huge smile on a Sunday morning: Lulu, that position is far too warm and comfortable to give up 🙂 !

  3. Your bird photos always make me want a yard full of Peacocks! They’re so neat looking and Godot is breathtaking. I’m afraid my dogs would make it very stressful for them though. Love the pigeons on the snow. Very pretty. It was in the 50’s here today. Crazy weather!

  4. Well, you know what they say. Curiosity killed the cat. Maybe Lulu had no business being there in the first place and got what she deserved! I am quite impressed by Godot’s winter fluff. He looks like a king wrapped in ermine without the little black spots. And I’m in agreement with Minnesota Prairie Roots. Love the pigeons on the roof. Beautiful shot.
