HOTTING UP

I am working on a new project! A big one. So stay tuned. If all goes well I will make an announcement tomorrow! Of course this new project means I will have to keep my wits about me today. But sometimes I get so excited about something I cannot speak of yet and all I can say is “I am so excited! Stand by.”

Spider coming! Close your eyes and scroll past if he is a bother!

Don’t worry – she is harmless, as long as you are not a fly.

I going to get myself moving. I have another beautiful farm day ahead.

Plus my plotting!!

Have a lovely day.

  1. That little piglet has almost identical markings to Molly. That spider is huge. I will be here hanging in my suspenders ๐Ÿ˜„ Laura

  2. It is hot down here too!!! I am still swimming in the lake and loving it! The weather report last week said we were out of the 90s and into the 80s for good, and now here we are up in the 90s again for at least a week or so to come! Big there is no way I am complaining about that! Just savoring each last hot day of summer! ๐Ÿ™‚ Looking forward to reading about the new project tomorrow!!! xo

  3. Your spider close-up reminded me to get out to the back porch with my small rake & get the big granny spiders down out of the corners & safely into the hydrangeas over the rails, because the porch washing guy is coming today in prep for my brother & sister-in-law’s big 2 party 50th do this weekend. Now back from those rescue operations (I left their tightly wrapped bundles & bags & egg sacs behind to be washed down, alas,) I want to say as I often am reminded in the pollinator exhibit in our little science museum where I work part time, Flies are pollinators too! As to your plotting & planning, remember Sherlock’s cry: The game is afoot!

  4. Anticipations, it’s making me wait….. Song of the day now.
Is it wrong of me to want to kiss a baby pigs face? I’m sure it would be squealing and Mom would be trying to kill me.
Can’ wait for tomorrow! (Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow…..)

  5. How appropriate that your arachnid companion is a Writin’ Spider like you! She’s a beaut!! Happy plotting and planning, darling C!

  6. 1. Your farm is BEAUTIFUL. All your little tribes seem to be thriving. 2. Do you think pig Moms love their babies? Would you call it Love? It looks like it. 3. I wish I could see the inside of your brain right now. I’m sure it is downright cinematic with plotting. 4. A Writing Spider! My favorite kind. Maybe her name is Charlotte ๐Ÿ˜‰

  7. I’m trying to figure out what “hotting” might refer to!!! other than hot weather!!! we might need hot soup in a few evenings when it’s 48 degrees in the forecast!!!! Excited for the surprise!!!

  8. Wa’al lookee there! Miss C has all her ducks in a row, save the infernal obstinator! So your thoughts are heating up to a boil and coming to fruition, eh? How much fun is this! ๐Ÿ™‚ Perfect place for plotting – on a farm! Have fun and see you in the morn!

  9. Standing by, with everything crossed for a successful outcome. Miss Molly in her nice clean bed, trying to catch 40 winks: “There’s always one who won’t go out to play…”

  10. Garden Spiders! I can’t stand to look at them; however, as a good farmer’s daughter, I have never killed one. I just get the shivers and keep on going.

  11. Yes I think Kathryn is right about it being a writing spider. ๐Ÿ•ท๐Ÿ•ธ
