The Wind Died Down

It is a strange saying – the wind died down.

But it did and we got right out onto the beach for a good walk just as the sun was going down.

I think that this walk with the boys is the highlight of my beach stay so far.

“The time has come”, the Walrus said, “To talk of many things: Of shoes and ships and sealing wax . Of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot. And whether pigs have wings.”

There are a few more beautiful images from yesterdays adventure, so I am putting a few onto the WIP ‘kitchensgarden.org’.

The new website is called TKG for short.

I call The Sustainable Home TSH for short (just for continuity).

Duane and I have another meeting tomorrow. And on it goes. Progress is being made. I think.

How is your Plastic Free July going? If you are already really good at creating less plastic waste (and we are) how can we do better? My offer is to help others. At The Sustainable Home. (Tons of coupons and sales coming – no one pays full price.

None of us anyway.

And you have a great day!

Celi.

  1. I must pop over to the WIP ‘kitchensgarden.org’… I keep remembering then forgetting. We are getting rain. Yay. Topping up our tanks and garden. We’re planning a winter beach getaway… soon.

  2. Oh but I love the last photo. I hope I don’t offend to say she looks like a young witch evoking the Magik of the elements. Fire in the sun; water, earth in the stick and stone, and wind.
