  1. There’s such a pleasure to be had in reclaiming order from chaos. On a tinier scale, I feel you happiness when I clear off my sewing table after a long, messy project, or clean out the chook house and give them fresh shavings!

  2. I am happy too when things are clean and in good order. I’ve had help for a few weeks just vacuuming and mopping my little place but that makes me happy too. Recognizing you are happy is important. Why do we forget to do that?

  3. I leave for Madagascar on Friday. I know the animals will be cared for, but the little things I do every day may not. The Secret Garden may dry up, the weeds will take over for sure, the greenhouse grass may die off, along with the pumpkins. And the outdoor enclosures will be wild with weeds because the tortoises don’t mind and guests don’t see them anyway. *sigh*
