Sand and Sheep

I have reached the sea. The long gorgeous Kapiti Coast. There is a swell and the coast is wild. Murky. Windy. Whipping waves. Divine.

The wind is down as I write. Early morning. So I will get out there before everyone wakes up. Though I am sure I will have a few little people ( who are not so little anymore) as company.

Kapiti Island. A nature reserve. We can talk about that more another day.

The beach is a 5 minute walk past a little field of sheep –

And over the dunes.

Ok! I hear whispers at my door!

Off we go again!

  1. It all looks so beautiful, especially the beach with the tree and clouds. I could almost see Hairy and Mama on the dunes with the other sheep!

  2. So beautiful. It sounds healing and peaceful. I long for the ocean, being a child of the ocean, there is something always pulling me back. It feels almost primal like it is part of me and I feel most at home and settled there.
