The cows share the pig garden and a really great TKG Sunday Newsletter. And what’s with YouTube?
Notes from the weekend.
Out of nowhere the YouTube channel where I store little shorts of the farm is getting lots of traffic.
Natural sound, handheld and unedited seem to be getting the most attention. There is more traffic on YouTube than even the blog or the newsletter. And it takes no work at all. How strange. I hope this means people are watching nice stuff there too.

Something for everyone and a delightful walk about. Plus I wrote a little story.

Here is the LINK to the newsletter.
I let the cows into the pig garden yesterday. Not for long – there is a lot of green in there including clover but I have waited until it has hardened off a bit. Still they all got gasey pretty quickly so it will be short visits until they are used to the heavy greens in there.
The weeds and grass are very long and none of it much good.
The cows will knock it down though.

I was standing with the PopPops in the long grass and weeds in the pig garden yesterday afternoon – they (the piglets) don’t tend to go far unless they have a grown up with them – and while I was standing about gazing off into the distance wishing I had bought a chair and a little table and maybe a glass of wine I looked down and there were three little pigs laying at my feet waiting for belly rubs.
Cuddles concluded!
And off they wandered foraging in the long grass.

With the ever present turkeys.

You will see in the Farm Walk-About video (in the newsletter) (link above) how well the piglets are running to bed and how not so well the turkeys are doing.😂

Lots here for you! The Farmy round up and the little story in the newsletter are kid friendly if you want to share with a little family. Our little families are struggling with the cost of everything – all over the world – though this is not new – I struggled financially too when I was raising a crowd of kids. So it is a pleasure to create free images that make kids (and their grown ups) smile.
Have fun.
Today I am working on the ‘25 garden beds and lifting more ripe pumpkins. I will probably make some more pumpkin soup! I will bring the latest recipe here for you this week.
Take care and Talk soon.

Those PlopPlops are so cute!
There doesn’t seem to be a link on the Newsletter image 😉
thank you! I will fix that.
Even the big cows are almost lost in that wild garden!
yes!! Oops!
how wonderful, it’s like a live parade each day, and never exactly the same
Such a lovely time of year!
Those PopPops are adorable. And the turkeys are now gangly teenagers.
the turkeys are becoming a bit of a problem. I am still trying to train them to sleep in the barn.
Oh those little black beauties 💖
They really are cute.
Loved seeing the critters on your farm and the piglets video!
I am so glad ~ it is a joy to me to bring a little joy to others and the animals have it!
