Because I was away all last week, I wanted to pop in today. I missed you all so!
And don’t forget the Farmy Newsletter comes out tomorrow! At noon. Join if you would like that delivered to your inbox!
Yesterday I built a run out into the grass for the white chickens.

As you can imagine they were thrilled. Chickens love to munch on grass!

Movement is very important to health and happiness. And important to the meat also. I am going to discuss diet and movement and omega 3’s in the Farmy newsletter tomorrow. I have a theory about movement in relation to healthy well balanced nutrition in meat.
Apparently while I was away, there was an altercation between the chook house wall and the baler. So I will set him indoors up to fix that today, mink season is coming. No holes allowed.

Here are our wee PopPops who are getting adventurous! On their way to bed they took a detour to help clean up after I ground new feed yesterday!

They are cute but it is the cat in the image that makes me smile. The piglets sniffed him on the way past and he retained his haughty disinterested expression the whole time!
Still windy and a little wet after last night. And cool!
Have a gorgeous day!
See you tomorrow!

They are doing so well!
Beautiful header photo! Cool down here too, but warming up toward the 80s later this week. I’m not quite yet ready to let go of the summer. 😉
the pop-pops are such a riot, and could even be their own children’s book
Lovely pix! And pigs.
The sky is glorious! The white chickens have changed dramatically in the time you’ve been gone
Ha! Typical cattitude! I love that photo and the one of the gorgeous sky!

What an amazing sky …..
It is wild with winds and clouds they say are remnants of the hurricane – it was a big one.
WE saw it on the news…..It looked huge.!
Great to have you back! The piggies with the cat is priceless.
The animals look loke they’re having a great time grazing and stretching their legs. 👏☮️🌅
Grazing and moving! Yes! Their favourite thing!
Hahaha! That last picture really tells the story. ‘Stand Your Ground’.
An… altercation. That really does cover a lot of territory, doesn’t it? 😂
