COVER CROPS
Yesterday I mowed and mulched all the weeds and grass on the back pigs field and John sowed the cover crop.

STRUCK BY LIGHTNING
Yesterday morning I awoke to an incredibly loud lightning storm, a massive crack way too close for comfort and then no electricity. Funny how the power goes off so silently.

HOTTING UP
I am working on a new project! A big one. So stay tuned. If all goes well I will make an announcement tomorrow!

MONARCHS LOVE MULBERRY
I have let Mulberry trees grow wild in three areas on the farm. Yesterday evening – on my way to the vegetable garden suddenly a cloud of startled monarch butterflies flew out of the trees. At that moment I knew why I loved those trees.

THE LONG SHADE
