With no respect for cold.

My CameraMasquerades

As a reluctant poet

With no respect for cold.

I am a little late this morning because I thought we could watch the sunrise together. So I fed the animals early and had the camera out for sunrise.  In the end I could not even feel my finger press the button to release the shutter.  As you can see we had a wee bit of snow last night, then wind, so the world is crunchy with fresh frozen icy snow.  Now it is time for my coffee and hot refried mashed potatoes, with a fresh egg for  breakfast.

Good morning everyone!

  1. The cold certainly has no respect for your poor fingers! I hope that tasty breakfast warmed up the rest of you well. Something particularly alluring about photo #3 in this set . . . it was worth getting all frozed-up for these–at least from *my* cozy perspective! Thanks, Celi!

  2. Even though you couldn’t feel your fingers, your photos are beautiful. But, it sure does look cold! And I guess it will be like this for another month at least.
