Ton and I had a busy productive day yesterday. I called the Swine Herd Man and apparently Sheila the Babe is only a week old, evidently pigs will also make you wait, even though you think you know when they are due, so she will be allowed to leave her Mother in a month. Waiting again. 
It rained on and off all day yesterday. Delicious soaky rain. 
This shot is for Mad Dog, because he likes his pigs. And This pig is working on being the ONLY fat pig in the sty! 
What are we to do with them. 
Little piggies. Well not so little anymore. 
Kupa spent all day sat in the barn watching the chickens grow. But I guess it Was raining. It was a watching the grass grow ( or in this case the chicks grow), kind of day. 
Still not very pretty, are they. 
Meadow is pretty though.
Queenie has been brought up from Pat’s Paddock. Mama was having an off day yesterday so I put her in Pats Paddock for some tall grass, interspersed with beet shreds and yoghurt and Queenie joined Hairy MacLairy in the Salad Bar Field for a hay day. With all this rain the grass will be growing again. Thank goodness.

Good morning. We are to have a warmer day today they say. With a little wind.
I am still playing catch up with the chores but it appears that all is well in the animal world for the time being.

Ah, needed a quiet farmy walk. Bet Kupa is counting his lucky stars to find such a lovely home with friendly creatures to watch. They all look pretty cute to me!

Interesting you end with take care of each other…I have been caring for my sister most of this weekend.
She has a chronic debiliatating pain issue. We had a trip to the ER (not much help). Then Monday after getting her to an un-named pain clinic, she had to be taken to the hospital for behaviorial reasons. I was with her for another 6 plus hours. She is still there and I am trying to keep myself together and give her counsel. I have a brother and another sister helping out too, but I feel I took the brunt this time. Worn down and out in every way. Mind is blanking too.
The farm pics look tantalizing…I can imagine a good hard days work there, which to me would be revitalizing. A working vacation! No thinking about anything else.
Wow! did it really warm up this afternoon! Windows open and airing out the house.
that sounds exhausting, and it sounds like you don’t have many answers either, that can be so frustrating.. good for you for hanging in there.. c

top right there are three buttons, if you click on them you can share a page straight to either your facebook or twitter page. They are just shortcuts .. Yes you should have them because YOUR pages are VERY SHAREABLE! c
I think I have share buttons right underneath my posts? But these are bigger so people can see them?? Very cool!!
