They say. Who are they, anyway? Did they say?
It would not surprise me to hear that They have all quit. Just up and gone away.
They simply cannot bear to tell me about the weather today.
There is a storm coming They say.
Some Day. We will go out to play.
I hope you all have a lovely day,
Love your friend on the farmy
celi (not Doris Day which would have been nice because it would have rhymed.)
“Oh vey!.”

Ugh for the weather, Hooray for the beautiful happy animals.
Oh yes, and hooray for the poet!
We had a ground frost in the night – only the third of this winter. There is no fairness in doling out the weather.
Ugh. I feel your pain. 50 mph winds and biting, icy snow yesterday. 20F right now, at mid-morning…
What a wonderful collection of portraits!

Oh, enough of the horrid weather already! Shame C!
Have a lovely day.

Let’s act like spring is here and maybe They will take the hint and get with the program.
I hope if They are correct, that it isn’t a bad storm…just a little rain perhaps, to blow March on it’s way and usher in April and Spring!
Storms blew through this morning in Missouri fast and furious. The kind that sets off colic in horses. Love the photos of your critters. Ours are waiting for Spring as well.
I love those portraits…especially the one of Mama? looking straight at you. I am not even going to give “them” the time of day and comment on the weather “they” have predicted for your area! Horrible people! 🙂
It’s good to see he farmy without snow.
That little pig is nearly as cute as Sheila 😉
Yes I’m wondering if the sheep is Mama. The gals are hard to tell apart, but whoever it is she is soooo clean and beautiful, her black face and white woolly body. Every one of the critters just as darling as they can be.
Raining here in Chicago but not hard. Pretty bleak though. Raw temperature.
Yes that is Mama.. such a good girl and not coming out of her shelter at all today.. Maybe tomorrow will be nicer weather. c
Yes…it is going to keep harrassing everyone…uffda…the worst of it is passing by my area, but to the north, south, and east of us it doesn’t look good.
We could sure use some rain here! Oh how I wish that it would rain!!! A nice old fashioned thunder storm booming and soaking the land! Much needed moisture!
Did spring come and go when we weren’t looking? During the night? Seems so…sigh…
Your photos are cheery! I pray that it passes quickly for you Celi and all the new babies.
Take care, hunker down and maybe it will go around you…hoping!
Hugs, Mere and Summer
p.s. You take the most beautiful close ups!!! Soft and lovely! 🙂
Thank you Mere.. c
That Poppy is just the cutest little piglet!!! Our youngest pig, Ellie Mae surprised us with 5 piglets two days ago. We thought we had separated her from her buddy Jethro before she was ‘mature’. Guess not! 🙂 She looked a bit surprised by her piglets the first day, as were we, but all are doing well now!
Oh thank goodness they are all doing well.. have you warmed up a bit? I have been practicing that Good Pig belly rub on Poppy and she falls straight over snorting softly, she does the same if I rub the side of her face too.. She is very tame already. Hope yours continue to do well.. c
Ah, the ubiquitous “they”. What do they know anyway! =D
They have the answer to World Problems
