They say. Who are they, anyway? Did they say?
It would not surprise me to hear that They have all quit. Just up and gone away.
They simply cannot bear to tell me about the weather today.
There is a storm coming They say.
Some Day. We will go out to play.
I hope you all have a lovely day,
Love your friend on the farmy
celi (not Doris Day which would have been nice because it would have rhymed.)
“Oh vey!.”

Cute – Happy Day on the Farmy:)
Oh dear! Everyone has a sad look in their eyes today, but who can blame them, with this eternal cold to battle through. May it end real soon for all of us.
Storm and snow here in Oregon’s high desert. too. I thought March was supposed to go out like a lamb! Not nice. Your pictures are so lovely. Calendar pics for sure.
I hear echoes of voices as I laugh at the poem – oh Them – and scroll through the faces looking at you-us… Mama? Here. Poppy? Here. Queenie? I’m heeere. Bobby? Here… and so on. All present and accounted for 🙂 Hang in there.
Nice to see a no snow photo, I’m just hoping the storm won’t hit too hard and it doesn’t have any of the white stuff….
so very cute ) beth
I am in Germany since Monday and it cold and windy . The sheep on my parents farm do not like it. They and the horses want to go outside. I love your pictures.
Wind here too.. what a noise.. I have never been to germany.. I did get close.. one day though.. c
Oy Vey indeed…you have had enough of your share of inclimate weather on the farmy…we have wind and a bit of rain right now…very early Spring weather…I hope you have the same and no snow.
Heavy, heavy rain and flooding here…..roads are all blocked off. House, I and all of mine are very safe, but I’m sick of having wet towels hanging about…..from drying Mirrhi after our walks in the downpours….and my sodden clothes for same reason. It is warm though, a blessing I guess.
mercy, you must have had a lot of rain, good that you are sheltered..I have two freshly showered dogs at my feet right now too.. that wet dog smell!.. c
Methinks I just have to win thhe Lottery, hire a big transport plane, load all the farmy on board, get you a few acres close to where I am and basically you won’t have to bother about ‘they’!!!!! And everything you do there you could truly manage with half the problems here!! My other Illinois blogfriends keep on insisting that this really is a bad year . . . but 😦 !! Not funny!!!! Beautiful week of mild autumn rains behind us, cloudy still with temps around 22 C, plenty of grass . . . . well, one can dream and pretend!!!!!
sounds divine.. just imagine!.. c
Let’s imagine 😉 ! You DO know how many Down Under you have loving you, don’t you? Plus a daughter but a hop-skip-jump away and two sons, a sister etc et al just across the Tasman . . . . . [sorry, Big John and the Matriarch : just talkin’ . . . .]
I know it!! Plus a son in california and one in canada.. I have to take giant strides! ni ni eha mama.. c
Love’ya 🙂 !
Poppy and The Bobby need their own children’s book.
You are heartily sick of this weather aren’t you! But it will end. Truly. And meanwhile you have some delightful animal companions.
My 8-year-old granddaughter loves pigs. She was oooohing and ahhhing over Poppy. And the Bobby, and Marcel…
