That’s all I’ve got. One little fat pig who looks like a topographical map of the world and his rooster.

And often I have a plethora of images, though plethora – with its bloody connotations – might not be the perfect word. Surfeit – no that is not right either as we never have enough farm images. Abundance?
Anyway – today we do not have an abundance. We just have one fat little pig who is happy as a lark at being set free into the harvested fields.
It is dark. Early morning. I have the next three sold hogs loaded up, plus a very big jack and one of those bolt tightening cross thingies in the back of my truck, just in case. My tire is fixed but the rims are shot. I will take the country roads and go slow. If I sell enough pork maybe I can buy new rims and tires. I guess I will literally sell until the wheels fall off my chariot. Because until the hogs are sold I cannot buy new wheels. How about that for a catch 22. Off I go.
Talk soon.

He’s wearing a patchwork leather jacket, but you’ve made him very happy pig.
I like the white socks. And the skin-folds back there. He’s a dear!
Ladies of the blog – this is the last letter I’ve received in my inbox. Is Ceci OK? Is anyone else having this problem? Just worried about our gal! Sunny – sunnylois19@sti.net
Lol, that’d be a tyre wrench you’re speaking of, if I’m not mistaken?; )
Yup, Be Prepared! (And you likely won’t need it; )
And, oh dear, was thinking just yesterday (when you mentioned another had gone flat): that you might need some replacement rubber… But needing both, well that’s a double whammy, isn’t it?
*sigh* It’s always something, isn’t it?; )
Take care and good luck with raising the money to buy new wheels and tyres.
Well I love this picture. How far he has come!
Isn’t it lovely to see all the loose skin that WeiWei hasn’t any need for anymore?: ). And the scarring, well I’ll not say what’s going through my mind (yet again!) about that. It’s just so GOOD that he’s happy: )
Hey Deb, thanks for the many likes for me, I am however having difficulty picking up your blog, can you help please? Laura
Lol, most likely ’cause she’s a work in progress and there are still no posts to see there; sorry Laura; )
Up here http://www.kijiji.ca is our friend for finding things at a decent price. Not sure where you have there that would be the equivalent.
Craigslist is a good one here in the States.
Yes indeed, Pete; Kijiji ROCKS: )
OOh, how is Tane going to take having competition in the harvested corn fields? Funny every woman reading the blog understood just which thingie you were describing and yet I can see the men rolling their eyes, sighing and prissily giving the item its toolbox name. By the way “spanner” works in SA too. :0 Laura
Apparently what my father taught us to use to change a flat and called a wheel or tire wrench is aka a lug wrench on this continent and according to Wikipedia: “in the United Kingdom and Australia it is commonly known as a wheel brace.”
Portrait of a little pig in heaven! Fingers crossed for a series of incident-free deliveries and a new set of rims – just in time!
” topographical map of the world ” The perfect phrase. Take care along the way
I like the white socks. And the skin-folds back there. He’s a dear!
There is a sigh of relief when all the animals are delivered.
Tires and rims! That’s just too much at once. I so understand the frustration. Lets hope today is a success and all will be taken care of soon. Keeping good thoughts.
I need a new washer myself but can’t afford one and have no pig to sell! 🙂
Ahh Wai Wai! His skin looks like a luner landscape. It’s amazing that he pulled through, and all down to your dedicated care. I bet it’s so much nicer to have that corn chopped down at last. Have a nice flat tyre free day!
He’s just so happy! Which makes us all happy 😃
He may be fat but he so alive! Every photo of him is just so heart-warming. Brings on a good day for me. Happy selling day to you!
