I had fully intended to watch the eclipse this morning. Max even cooperated and woke me at 5:30. (Normally he starts nudging me around 3 – 4:00 am.) And I forgot all about it until I saw your post’s email in my inbox. Well, it’s gone now. If only it had taken this Winter chill with it. Thanks, Celi, for sharing your photos with us.

Yes that is Our John and TonTon. The other dog is Big Dog, that is Johns dog, he found him tied to a fence post with wire around his neck at a job site, poor thing had to stand or he would have strangled, a wee pup, oh about 10 or 11 years ago now.. he is devoted to John. .. c

Wow.. the moon looks stunning. I remember moon and star gazing with my mom when I was little. I miss it.. wonderful photos 🙂
My Dad used to do that too, he would wake us up to go outside with the telescopes and look at something interesting inthe sky! . c

-12C and still saying “Have a good day” is admirable – or do I mean insane. Maybe it was so cold that you didn’t know what you were saying – your mouth just exhaled a glacial word bubble.
I am for the glacial bubble theory, thank you Roger. This morning my glove got wet, then I tried to hook a metal latch and my glove was frozen to the latch within a milli second, I had to take my hand out of the frozen glove and the rip it off the metal.. (I suppose i am lucky it was not my tongue!!) That is when I thought enough already, breakfast time! .. c
