A quick show of hands.

Tshirts-020

Very quickly I would like to ask a favour. I am still working on the blog page and due to popular demand; the T Shirts. I need to know how many of you might want to buy a Sheila The Sassy T Shirt.  If you have a moment could you click on your size so I can get a rough count. The least I have to  buy to get a reasonable price is 72. As you can imagine this is a fair amount of money up front so I need to see if the idea is viable.  This is not an obligation just a swift count of raised hands.

Of course there are a few sites where you could buy a Sheila T shirt straight from the site, they will be more expensive but a lot less work for all involved. So we have options.

Though I am having a great deal of trouble with the paypal button!

However to begin; lets see a show of hands!

Yesterday was so cold I lost my sense of stoic.  It really was very cold. Close your mouth and jog cold. Chest hurting cold. (Yes I remembered to do my face yoga!) I am saying four more days then the weather will begin a slight upwards trend. What do you think?

Good morning. Have a lovely day. Back to work for us all. I still have a lot to do with this new theme. Let me know if it is not working for you; it will help me to spot any problems.

  1. Just a quick comment. I have bought t-shirts from on-line friends in the past through a site called zazzle. I can vouch for the quality of the t-shirts (they don’t crimp or shrink either) . And that way I think you just upload your design and then your customers choose the style, size and colour they like for the t-shirt. I thought that prices were okay, the sizing was good and they sent out the t-shirts promptly. It might be less work at your end.

    • Thank you Marie, I am working on a zazzle account for the postcards and things. We will look at the numbers and see what we get. have a glorious day.. the sun i out here for a moment.. c

  2. I like the new look, a lot. Stay warm and hold on. We have flowers in Georgia, so blooms are coming your way soon. Weather is still bipolar, because we are to have freezing temps tonight…our now blooming trees and plants will be brown by the end of the week. You are a great photographer and writer, Celi.

  3. The new site looks awesome, C!
Much as I want a t-shirt, I’m Paypal-averse… maybe something like Zazzle, so I could use a credit card? Worse comes to worse, I’ll just give my son money and have him order it for me with his account…
Stay warm…this winter has nearly broken me, and Hubby, too. More snow this morning, and the STATE is out of road salt, with no delivery before Thursday. How does that even HAPPEN?

  4. I know Pete also battled with the paypal button. He is on his way to Kenya so I can’t even ask him for some advice for you.
I love your header pic C, just too gorgeous.
    🙂 Mandy xo

  5. New theme rocks!!! I know it takes a lot to get it tweaked to the point where it is exactly right but I love the new look. Adding to the comments here—I have used Zazzle also and was very happy with the results. Sounds like others were too. I say make it as simple for yourself as possible. You have a farm to take care of. 🙂 Hugs!

  6. The new blog style is very good, works well, and I like the new font. I’d love a Sheila Tshirt but I think the postage to Australia would make it very expensive… maybe I’m wrong. Can anyone tell me?

    • I send packages to aussie all the time for my daughter in melbourne, so if there are a few of you I can package them all up and she will post them from there. But yes it may be too expensive.. however in october i will be visiting her so i can always pop a few in my suitcase and pass them on then!

        • IN October I have a son getting married in NZ and afterwards my daughter is taking me to melbourne to show me where she lives now! so yes, i shall be breezing through, c

  7. I can personally vouch for Zazzle as I have a store over there myself. It takes a bit of doing to set things up but once done you are good to go (until they decide to change formats, etc. and muck things up till you learn the new way) We didn’t get the big snow they were predicting but we got cold that made my face sting. Sick of winter – hurry up spring. Stay safe and warm miss c….t

  8. Would love a T but am not ordering one due to crippling (for me) foreign exchange rate and postage to South Africa, probably will have to pass on calendar for the same reasons. 😦 Laura

    • Sorry meant to say ….. light yellow font on light background pictures is very difficult to see/read. Otherwise all good. I read on an HD laptop. Laura

      • yes, I must get that fixed today, am trying to work out how to change the colour of the text each time, (depending on my background) without it changing ALL the text over years of work. Of course once you click on it it is all there in white and black but not ideal.. will work on it today.. thank you laura..c

  9. Nice looking theme! You can go up to the name of the blog in the menu bar, then customize, then colors and change just your header color there, or the whole palette. If you don’t see colors as an option, you may have to pay a small amount for that customizing ability, but it looks like you already have the customizing feature.

    • thank you betsy, i do see the colour palette, however i am not sure how to change just the lead text, i shall refocus on it today.. thank you.. c

      • I have the Custom Design Upgrade http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/
which allows me control over fonts, colors and css. If you have custom fonts, you may already have this. When you look at the colors that pop up on the color editing palette, (click color in the sidebar and the palette will slide out) you should see five colors that make up your theme palette. Check to see which color corresponds to your lead text. Click on that color circle and it will enable you to pick your own color from some suggestions that work well with your current colors, or you can make your own color. You can preview the color on the site before you change it, or undo if you’re not sure. It’s fun to play with, and you could change your lead text every day easily to suit the image!
