Who is looking in your door?

I am a very lucky girl. A. because I love to have Tima looking through my door and B. because Tane cannot climb the steps – yet! Anyway he is too busy in the frog garden, he has discovered some unharvested beets and has a pink nose and lipsticked lips from digging them up and scoffing them,

Boo is actually shaping up to be a pretty good cow dog. ‘Course he would be even better if the cows took any notice of him at all.

I must remember to put the lid on the feed bin.  Pania is such an opportunist.

How is that for an angel in the barn? Still stalking Godot.

I have built a staircase of the new straw right up to the loft, so I can climb up and sit on the bales and add another level of Views. Boo is thrilled, now he can see what is making all that noise up in the loft.

But the only shot I got was this one. Thwarted again.

Sheila and Hop-and-Pop-Poppy had their first walk since Sheila hurt her hoof. Sheila and I walked slowly while Poppy flung herself to and fro but once Sheila got into the grass she swung into action and munched as fast as she could. She loves to graze. piggie-in-the--middle-072

Good morning. Still warm and cloudy. The lack of sunlight is becoming a little depressing however the lack of wind and the daytime temperatures in the high 30’s is great! What were they doing this time last year?  And the year before the year before? (Scroll down if you pop over, there is a little Christmas story in there – you remember it .. the one with the Christmas decorations. – it still makes me laugh.)

I hope you all have a lovely day.

Your friend on the farmy,

celi

ps. if you have a few minutes to spare pop in and read (or write) in the Join Us page – on the menu line.  It really is a lovely page because it is in there that you have introduced yourselves to the other members of The Fellowship. I love that page.

  1. You are feeling better. Your words and pictures say it for you. Boo’s bum. Great calendar pic. He looks so determined to find the elusive sound maker. Tima at the door. You are lucky. That is a sweet face. Hope all is well today on the farmy.

  2. The kitchen door to the family Upstairs is perpetually smeared from Max’s nose as he watches them in their kitchen. So far, they’ve resisted the urge to let him in but it’s only a matter of time. If and when they do, they won’t be able to say that I didn’t warn them.
Another day with a sunless sky. Today they said it’s been 33 minutes of sun in 10 days. This has to be some sort of record, unfortunately.
May your tomorrow be sunny, Celi. 🙂

  3. Tima’s sweet face looking in the door would definitely make one’s day. She’s such a cutie. Boo looks like he’s smiling out there “working the cows.” I guess you’ll have to send him to the loft with the camera! Silly boy!
